Fuelrods on ships

Do any of the ships have the Fuelrods on them yet? We'll get one while at WDW before the trip, but I know my teen and myself and even with no internet we'll manage to run down our phones during the day.

nope no fuel rods replacements. But it’s not like your at wdw. Plenty of time to recharge your charger and phone. Get back from breakfast you won’t be in your room long at yer breakfast. Get that phone on the charger. While you are getting ready. After lunch same thing. Before dinner put your phone and phone charger charging. After dinner same thing. Should be plenty

I find I don't use my phone on the ship the way it is used in the parks. There is no interaction on the ship: no making reservations or online ordering, no checking status of wait lines, no GPS locating people or bathroom locations. On the ship, it's pretty much seeing what time it is and what's on the schedule from the Navigator. Now, if you use an iPhone chat all day, yes you will burn up your batteries fast.

Just buy an external charger from a company like Anker.

Unless you use a kindle app to read, you really don’t use the phone nearly as much on ship. Internet slow and limited.

We only used ours for a few photos and checking the navigator app. And the room is always nearby.

I used my very old iphone 6 which barely holds a charge for more than a couple hours a lot for reading kindle books and my ipad for putting on movies for my youngest at mealtimes, and the nice thing about the cruise is you are always just 2 minutes away from the stateroom so easy to charge on and off during the day.

Fuel rod stations would seem unnecessary to me. Your room is not that far away where you can recharge if needed. Without internet, I'm not sure what I would be doing to even drain the battery.
