I saw on a Dis blog that Iger & Lassiter are allegedly fueding. Anyone know why & how bad?? The blog article doesn't say anything about it.
How does one 'feud' with one's boss or subordinate?
If one of my employees were to 'feud' with me, I'd have one less employee.

You read it on a blog?? I wouldn't put to much faith in anything on a blog.
No idea who they are let alone if they are feuding!
After the Q3 earnings report, another website (NOT a blog) has mentioned that they don't always see eye-to-eye on things.
Sheesh...if someone blogged about every time *I* didn't see "eye to eye" with my boss, it'd blow up the interwebz! Look...I don't know many people who are in total lockstep with their bosses - especially coming from very different fields (creative vs business). I wonder how much of this is to hype a situation and get people all fired up with "OMG - how will this affect the parks"?
I am of the opinion - and I might be wrong - that Disney is bigger than one or two people, or their bickering. Certainly there are "eras" and "regimes", but I don't know if one or two people (albeit powerful people) wield that sort of influence on the trajectory of Disney's vision.
As others have mentioned.... Bean counters and executive types are almost a commodity. It's much harder to find someone who has the creative energy combined with the leadership/financial components that Lassiter has.
Not only that, as a master storyteller, he may be the closest thing to Walt that the company has had outside of the direct Disney family (Roy, Roy E., etc.)
