I am new to the trip report thing, so here goes my best shot!

My fiance (Jeff) and I went down this weekend for a 3 day vacation/planning trip for our wedding in November. We had a great time, and very few problems!

We got to MCO about 9:00 am Saturday and checked in with Mears. We got really lucky this trip and seemed to never have to wait in lines very long, and by 9:20 we were on our Mears shuttle bus on the way to ASMu. We had never stayed at an AS before, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Clean, nice, and cheap! :) The beds and room were a bit on the small side, but we weren't looking for a posh place this time b/c of our limited schedule. The pool was nice too, and all of the CMs we came across were helpful. Hardly more than a 5 minute wait at check in, and they had a room for us already! We got to the room, and did a bit of unpacking, and then headed off to Epcot.

Once again, we only waited for the bus for about 5 minutes, and then it came and we were on our way. We had 1 pm PS's at Restaurant Marrakesh, so we decided to grab some TT Fastpasses and then head over to the Living Seas. We're having our wedding reception in the Living Seas VIP Lounge, and we'd never been on the ride before, so we figured we'd better. It was nice, but not that entertaining in my opinion.

We hit Ice Station Cool, and I told Jeff that he HAD to try the Beverly. I got a picture of his face. Hahahahah! :) We really like the lemon flavored soda fromn Israel. Then we headed around the WS starting with Canada, and I was pleasantly surprised that they sell British candy at the UK pavilion. I would have gotten some, but it was so hot, I was afraid it would melt. We watched Impressions de France (my favorite!) and headed over to Morocco for our PS.

The food here is great! Not overly spicy and very filling. Pretty big portions too. I had the mint tea (very refreshing) and the chicken kabobs (yum!).

We continued around the world, and did some shopping in Japan. Of course we had to go to the American Experience. What a moving show!!! I especially like the photo montage at the end. By this time I had developed a bit of a sunburn, so we took a break in China to put on some more sunscreen. While we were there, we saw the best acrobat troupe. They were amazing!! Got some Rice Cream (yum!) and Lefses in Norway and went on Rio de Tiempo. Unfortunately Maelstrom was closed for FP refurbishment. Then we headed over to TT for our fast pass time (when we got them around 10-11, they were already giving them out for 4!). For some reason TT seemed better than I remembered it. I wonder if they upgraded it since the last time I was there. After TT we did some more shopping in that great store (I forget the name) and got our wedding ears for when we go down in November for our wedding. Then we headed over to Universe of Energy. I love this ride! Plus it is long and it felt good to sit down and rest our feet! :)

We headed over to the Land to go on the boat ride, and then took the boat to the Boardwalk for our 8:30 PS's at Spoodles. Wow! What good food. We had the chili oil shrimp (awesome!) and the rigatoni with an apple tart for dessert.

Then we caught the boat over to MGM and got the bus back to ASMu.

What a great 1st day!

You did a great job! Sounds like yall had a blast. :)
