I'm actually asking this for my aunt, who will be meeting us in less than a month! We'll be at WL, but she planned to stay at Ft. Wilderness. I know it says it sleeps 6, but she will have 3 18 year old boys (my cousin and two friends) my female cousin and her boyfriend, and my Aunt. Will they all really fit on two full sized beds and the bunk beds? Can they request cots so the 3 boys can all sleep out in the living room?

I don't believe they have any cots or rollaway beds at FW.

Is there anyone in the party that is sort of petite? I've stretched out on the sofa for naps many times in the cabin, and was very comfortable. The sofa doesn't make a bed, but if someone was content to sleep on it, it would be an option.

Another option would be to bring an air mattress with you. A twin or maybe a double would fit in the kitchen area OK. I don't think anything larger than a double would fit and still give you access to the hallway and bathroom.

You will find a lot of info on the cabins on the camping board. But I would say that would be too close for comfort with that mixture of people, especially to share one bathroom.

Also, as the PP stated, they do not supply cots, but you could bring air mattresses and lean them up against the wall when not in use.

Why not put all the boys in the bedroom? The women can sleep on the Murphy bed in the living room. There is room for a air mattress in the bedroom if the boys don't want to share a double. I would say that there is not enough space in the living room for 4 boys.

The sleeping six is as follows:

Two in the double bed in the bedroom
One in the bottom bunk in the bedroom
One in the top bunk in the bedroom

So four there

Two in the Murphy bed in the living room

So two there for the six total

There is a door between the bedroom and the living room

I agree someone can sleep on the couch if needed (does not fold out but is a full size couch)

Highly suggest an air mattress for this group. I really don't think even two 18 year old boys are going to want to share a bed. And the cousin and boyfriend will want either the Murphy bed or the double bed. And I would think the aunt would deserve the other regular bed. So the three 18 years old would be relegated to the bunk beds and the couch.
