We've stayed at FW several times both on campsites and in the Wilderness Homes/Cabins. I don't remember ever seeing anything about RV rental in my information or at the www.disneyworld.com official site. The Homes/Cabins are a great alternative to bringing your own camping vehicle/equipment. They're completely furnished with everything you need, including the kitchen and there is daily maid service. The last time we got a price on an RV rental to drive to Florida, the price was over $500.00 a week plus mileage (I think-- it was about 10 years ago). The homes/cabins might be a good alternative your you.
They gave out some flyers on this during our stay in '98. Though I had a tough time understanding if it was a sales or rental brochure I'll see if I can dig it up again. Might check out Jeff Spencer's FW FAQ to see if it offers anything. If nothing else I'm sure you can find a rental place that can help you out.
I'm going to move this one to the Camping Board since I think you'll get more responses from some of the camping group.
