Ft. Wilderness Hay Rides/Fireworks

Does Anyone know where exactly the hay ride goes? I've never visited the area to know the layout. I was hoping that I could get a hayride timed right so that I will be able to see fireworks at Magic Kingdom from the beach. Is this right? Will this work? Does Ft. Wilderness have a beach area at all that fireworks are visible from? Any ideas?

Yes -- FW has a very nice beach to sit and watch the fireworks! I'm not sure exactly where the hayride goes, but I've heard other people say that if you take the hayride that goes at the time of the fireworks, they will stop along the way to watch!

This is going to sound like a stupid question. Does anyone know if there's actual hay on the hay ride, or is it really just a wagon? I know my family would love this, but DH is allergic to hay. We've gone on "hay rides" in the past that were really just a wagon with benches. It would be great for us if this were the same set-up.
