Uh oh, don't like that "or so we thought" part!!! OOOOOO!!!!! I'm anxiously waiting on the next installment!!! WOW
I was about to get REALLY ugly at CMs as were several other families.
We had the same encounter with AK and EMH. They asked as we got on the dino ride for your key card, but still let those without them go on anyway. The lady in front said they had been going to all of them that week and this was the 1st time someone even checked and they were staying off property.
I was surprised that they didn't check at all. I never once saw them ask anyone for their KTTW and Amanda said the same. I liked the wrist bands better.
Sounds like a great day despite the changes. It's funny how you plan and plan for months for this trip and then the plans are thrown out the window so easily!
I can't believe you weren't asked to see your ID more. I don't think there was a ride we went on where they didn't ask for our ID.I have to say that I like the wrist bands much better though!
It was a good day, very tiring, but that is just Disney. And I said in my PTR that I knew all my plans would go out the window.........

None of us were asked at any ride at any time. I too was surprised because I kept telling everyone to have their kttw ready. I had lanyards for everyone with the clear ID holders and the whole nine yards..........go figure. I liked the wrist bands better. If they aren't going to enforce the rules of EMH then there goes one of the benefits of staying on property. I guess with the economy like it is Disney really doesn't want to anger any guests be it day guests or resort guests.
Glad you and Dallas got to go and do the things you wanted while "the big kids" did their thing. The cabin looks rustic-not sure it would be my style either. Sorry about the tea.
Dallas is my Disney buddy. I am not a roller coaster person and he doesn't care for them too much either so he will ride the baby rides with me..........

Hey after fighting the armadillo on the DARK porch the night we arrived I feel like a true camper. There were critters all around. We joked that they were on Disney's payroll..................

I hate that we missed the tea, but we were just so hungry and Amanda admitted that she was doing it because she thought I really wanted to do it. So she saved me $50. And the pizza was good anyway.
