Ft myers to dw?

Any one know how long of a drive that is? We have a family wedding in Ft Myers and are hoping to sneak in a few days R & R at our favorite relaxing spot OKW.

3 to 4 hours depending on traffic. It is a nice ride in my opinion.

my son goes to school in ft myers..and lives is estero..and he's driven over to meet us at WDW many times....it usually takes him between 2 1/2-3 hrs depending on traffic and which route he takes

We made that trip yesterday. 2h 45min going to Ft Myers and 3 hours on the return trip with a lot more traffic. We took I-4 to I-75, nice uneventful drive. I-75 is 4 lanes in some areas (and 2 lanes in others).

sounds like this is so do-able!! DH usually drives 10 hours a work day patrolling streets as a police officer, so I know he won't mind 2 - 3 hours, especially heading to DW!! Doc, thanks for the specific route info.

We do that trip on March trips. We usually start for a few days at WDW, then drive down to Ft. Myers for the weekend and spring training and head back to WDW early the next week. As long as you aren't going during rush times, we have always been able to do it in under 3 hours.
