I'm checking the bylaws and looking up the rules of impeachment. Sometimes people give you lottery tickets as a gift, and you put no effort in on your own. If you win there and the person who gave you the gift is a jerk and has to live with that haunting them, it's almost like a two-fer.

I see your point.

However, the lottery commission doesn't care WHO has the ticket. The prize goes to the person who actually hands over the winning ticket.
