Frustrated at Gymboree ...

I placed an order on December 3rd with Gymboree with a few sweaters for DS#1, one specifically for Christmas, and some Newborn puppy stuff for DS#2 since his room theme is blue/brown puppies.

I tried to put the order through a few times but they kept saying my billing address was wrong. :confused3 It was the right address but in the process they put 4 holds on my account each time I tried, so I had a total of $600 tied up in holds. So I changed the billing address to reflect my old address, even though I KNOW the billing address with my bank is my current address because I had to call them once two weeks ago to fix that. So I place the order with the billing address the website corrected but CONFIRMED TWICE before hitting submit order that the shipping address was my current address.

I get the confirmation page within seconds and it shows the shipping address as the old billing address. :confused3 I called customer service immediately and she said she corrected the shipping address ... NEVER mentioned that it MIGHT NOT go through.

I then called my bank because Gymboree told me it would take 5 business days to get the $600 worth of holds off my account. My bank took them off immediately.

I get the shipping confirmation late last week ... and checked the tracking yesterday to see when it would arrived. It was shipped to the WRONG ADDRESS ....

I called Customer Service again, was told they saw in the notes where the address was supposed to be changed but that it was not a gaurantee and obviously it didn't go through. So my options where to wait until they get the shipment back and they would resend it to the right address or place a new address (being charged again) and they would ship it out now (they don't have some of the items anymore in stock and it would be at the price I orginally paid) and then refund the first shipment when they get it back. I don't want to pay for a second order and have $250 sitting out there waiting for a refund of $125 right now and I don't know that I would even have that by the 23rd anyway. So I decide to wait and see when they get the first shipment back and decide then. I just checked the website and most of the stuff I bought, minus what is no longer in stock, is now $2-10 cheaper, than I paid for it anyway. I am probably going to just cancel the order since one of the sweaters was for Christmas and the stuff for DS#2 was just a few cute outfits. Nothing special.

It's just annoying ...
