hi all
i know theres been a few pics and this has prob been asked before, but where can u get fruit in the park???

which buffets/restaurants have it?? and can u get it at breakfast?? lol

i eat quite alot of fruit, and am beginning to realise im gonna struggle food & drinkwise at disney (partly my own fault as in routines/ways of eating that are completely diff from disney haha) so trying to get things sorted in my head lol

You can buy fruit at the little Casino shop in the station before going into the parks.

In the parks I've seen fruit stands when you enter the Studios, after the covered part, and in the main park on various carts often next to the popcorn. It's a € a piece.

Hotels can't help you with. I've seen fresh fruit salads on various cs menus in the past, have a look through and see if they still are doing them or if it's all ice cream and yogurt based things now :goodvibes

thanks carrie..... didnt realise u cud get it on the carts!! that wud work brill...

and in the station?? wud u believe ive never been in the station?? thats another option....

ill go n have a google at the menus now and see what i can find.....

a star as always carrie :goodvibes

Just looked at a couple of the menus and it has has fresh fruit salad in the desserts at 3.99€

oh brill!!!!!!!!!!! maybe they only do that when warmer??? *** usually we are in 'off season' so maybe itll b easier to find this time??

and after id posted i remembered all the pics u did of eos and remembered the fruit cups, so those r def gonna b bought (espec with shareholders discount!!! :thumbsup2)

and also thinkin bout the teas..... ive seen tea infusions mentioned and they might do nicely too! lol

We ate at the Restaurant des stars in the studios last year and they had a huge amount of fresh fruit...strawberries, melon, apples, grapes and probably more that i can't remember.

There is fruit at breakfast, but it is cheap fruit cocktail from tins (or at least it is in the Santa fe and Cheyenne where we have stayed.)

Thanks for posting this Nikki - I have the same dilema when at DLP with the fruit - I've packed two bags of apples wrapped in bubble wrap in my suitcase!

At the Cafe Mickey breakfast last year they had freshly cut fruit salad; so we've booked that one morning. Also we did the Cowboy Cookout tea party last year and they had stewed apple in like drink satchets.

Billy Bob's buffet also had the most amazing selection of pieces of fruit.

Those Fruit Salads look devine Carrie!:thumbsup2 Definitely going to stop at EOS every morning for one of those especially with my shareholders card!:goodvibes

Those ^^ in bold can also be bought in the Casino mini mart at the station. They have different flavours and it's all 100% fruit. :goodvibes

Thank you so much Carrie!:thumbsup2 I have big time problems with not getting enough fibre putting me in excruitiating pain and those stewed apple satchets we found at the cowboy cookout were just the thing last year!:thumbsup2 We've always used the little newsagents inside the Eurostar - where is the Casino mini mart in relation to this??

When you are going towards the main entrance to the park you have the station on your right.

The Casino the nearest you can get to the park entrance whilst being in the station :goodvibes

That sounds nasty. :flower3: Can you eat/do you like dried fruit? Would it be worth putting in a small packet of something just in case?

ETA I'm obviously too late to come up with this suggestion now! Hope you feel okay while you're away.

Ali, I definitely agree with the dried fruit idea! That has loads of fibre in. I always take loads for the children - mini packets of raisins, and stuff like those Winders things. Also, Asda have fantastic little packets of dried fruit called Greeat Stuff Fruit Numbers - pure fruit. They're delicious!

Just to add that when we were there a few weeks ago, there was a large cart, just inside the entrance to the Village with masses of fruit available.

There was also plenty at our hotel (HNY) for breakfast each morning.

Just back from DLP this week and there was the cart in the studios selling bananas and appled for 1Euro which was great as we had our baby with us.

As everyone else says too-The casino mart is also great for picking up stuff

Thanks. I was not too bad whilst on holiday - have come to the conclusion that stress is playing a large part in the problem and the relaxation of Disney seemed to help so much. Off to Barts Hospital in the next few weeks' for them to do some tests to hopefully get to the bottom of the problem (pardon the pun!):rotfl::rotfl:
