Frozen looks to be awesome. It is getting rave reviews across the board; great songs, great characters, great story. The word is that it is the greatest Disney movie since Beauty & the Beast!

I am very excited for Frozen as the trailers look great. I love the idea of a snowman that longs to see summer. :hyper:

Check out these reviews:

Check out this review in Forbes: http://www.forbes.com/sites/scottmendelson/2013/11/19/review-frozen-is-disneys-best-toon-in-years/
"Frozen is both a declaration of Disney’s renewed cultural relevance and a reaffirmation of Disney coming to terms with its own legacy and its own identity. It’s also a just plain terrific bit of family entertainment."

And this review in The Wrap: http://www.thewrap.com/frozen-review-disneys-best-animated-musical-since-beauty-beast

"This is the best animated musical to come out of Disney since the tragic death of lyricist Howard Ashman, whose work on “The Little Mermaid” and “Beauty and the Beast” helped build the studio’s modern animated division into what it is today. And while “Frozen” may provide some new outfits for young princesses-in-waiting, it’s a movie that inspires inner strength to go with those outer ruffles."

And the Disney Blog entry about the Meet & Greet in Epcot: http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2013/11/frozen-meet-greet-debuts-at-epcot/

I am stoked!!

Wow... Rave reviews indeed. I was pretty meh abt this movie and thought i would just watch it whenever...but now the reviews have me pretty excited! Amazing to hear it compares to the glory days of Disney movies.

I was fortunate enough to see a preview of the film last week. I can not say enough about this film. The music is moving and the artistry is simply amazing. In my opinion it's on the same level as Beauty or Little Mermaid. Gorgeous design, great music, two princesses, great comedy side kicks. It really has it all. The song and animation for Elsa's big number sung by Idina Menzel is incredible. Can't wait to see it again on Thanksgiving Day.

Love it!! We are doing a mommy/ daughter play date with friends and their little girls on the 30th!!

"Frozen is, at heart, a straight arrow version of the classic Disney cartoon musical. It’s just an exceptionally excellent version of that."

Here are some from Rotten Tomatoes

which give the movie a 94%

Frozen feels like classic Disney animation. If someone had announced Frozen as the studio's follow-up to Beauty & the Beast, no one would blink. It's that good.

Frozen is an exhilarating, joyous, human story that's as frequently laugh-out-loud funny as it is startling and daring and poignant. November 4, 2013Full Review

The showstopping central musical number is a glorious anthem to female power and ability... and so, in fact, is the whole wonderful movie. Disney is finally getting it. November 18, 2013Full Review

'Frozen' is a case of strong creative alchemy, where everything works together just right, in ways they probably couldn't have imagined. November 20, 2013Full Review

It straddles the classic and the current in a way that will delight Disney geeks of all stripes, and its wonderfully girl-powered story melted the heart of even a Disney cynic like me. November 18, 2013Full Review

This is simply charming cinema, and to counteract the film's title somewhat, it sure does leave you feeling rather warm. November 20, 2013Full Review

Frozen is a magnificent film, a gorgeously animated, well-told and beautifully evocative adaptation of Anderson's tale - but the only fairy tale ending that comes out of it is how well all of its unconventional parts come together. November 20, 2013Full Review

Given that it's a Disney cartoon, you probably already know how it ends, but what's interesting about Frozen is that you may not predict how they're going to get there. And for children's animation, that's a wilder ride than we usually get. November 3, 2013Full Review

Sorry, just can't help myself!

What did you all think of "Tangled"?

I thought it was really good. "Wreck-it Ralph" was too.

This is just my very humble opinion.

Wreck it Ralph was very good and unique. I liked it very much. I think Tangled was great! We had a party for kids and made sure to have a small skillet. :) Who knew?!

I have mad Idina love. That woman has some singing chops!

All the reviews consistently rave about the music being Broadway quality.

Has Disney ever announced what would replace Beauty and the Beast in Hollywood Studios?

:scratchin

The music is said to be awesome. A number of articles said this will end up as a broadway show.

Check out the music video of the song, "Let it Go" it is an awesome song and is going to be a hit. And it fits perfectly with the story.

Here are the lyrics:

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn my back and slam the door

The snow blows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the queen
The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside
Couldn't keep it in
Heaven knows I tried

Don't let them in, don't let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know
Well now they know

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn my back and slam the door
And here I stand
And here I'll stay
Let it go, let it go
The cold never bothered me anyway

It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all
Up here in the cold thin air I finally can breathe
I know I left a life behind but I'm too relieved to grieve

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go,
Turn my back and slam the door
And here I stand
And here I'll stay
Let it go, let it go
The cold never bothered me anyway

Standing frozen in the life I've chosen
You won't find me, the past is all behind me
Buried in the snow

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go,
Turn my back and slam the door
And here I stand
And here I'll stay
Let it go, let it go
The cold never bothered me anyway
Let it go, here I stand, let it go,let it go. Let it go

I think the movie looks like it could be really good but WHY does the promise of success cause people to extoll virtues when they are still unseen? Let Disney earn the accolades first ... You have no personal interest in it do you?:confused3

ooooo!!!!! This is so exciting!!!!

Love to hear all the great reports. We are looking forward to this as well!

I get really tired of the few who tear apart past Disney movies or projects based on nothing but a guess and opinion. Apparently that's ok to some.

The same thing happened with Planes, some were tearing it apart based on nothing but the trailer. According to the few it was a disaster, yet once it was released it did pretty good and have many great reports.

It is still in theaters and so far has grossed over $90,000,000.

The next Planes is due out this summer.

Looks great. I want to see it. :)

Have a question for y'all. Do you think it will dethrone "Hunger Games, Catching Fire" as the highest grossing movie of the week. I think it's going to be close. Saw "Catching Fire" last night. Great movie, and it should do well next weekend.
