Frozen Summer Fun?

It's not even that good of a movie if we all cut through it and are honest...

Speaking strictly to this, I disagree. One of the best movies they've done in some time. It was very nice to see them go back to the older, more musical Disney style. We also greatly enjoyed that it was an atypical princess story that didn't end with a happily ever after wedding. It had a good message to it.

The songs are really corny...like really. Nowhere close to the standards of say a little mermaid or Aladdin...

"love is an open door" isn't excruciating? Come on.

But it is all a matter of taste.

I think that tangled was a much better movie...no question. And started the "new princess" style that benefited frozen greatly.

Anna and Elsa should give half their money to rapunzel...in my opinion.

It is all a matter of taste. I also think a lot of it has to do with when you grew up. I do love the Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Lion King but those were all relatively new during my childhood.

The songs are corny because they were so popular and so over played. I think if they weren't over played I would like them more.

I do think Tangled was underrated though.

Got an email this afternoon from Disney to join them as the Force Awakens ~ "Live Star Wars at a place where Star Wars lives".
Goodbye Frozen Summer Fun!

Goodbye Frozen Summer Fun!

I'm glad we went this summer then, because we got to enjoy it. And regardless what the grown ups think - I had a 5 year old girl who was in heaven watching the Frozen parade, fireworks, seeing the sing a long show, and meeting A&E at MK. Now fingers crossed that the Star Wars stuff is still going strong summer 2017!

That doesn't confirm its gone for good though.
No but it's my educated guess that Disney is moving forward with HS and Star Wars. Of course it is Disney so....!

Don't get me wrong I took DD who was 11 last summer and we both enjoyed Frozen summer fun at HS (me a bit more so).

I grew up in the early 90's and still love The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin, but there's still something wonderful with Frozen. I think it gets a lot of hate because of how much Disney overplayed it. Tangled is wonderful as well. They're all amazing in their own right. The music is all beautiful, but pitting movies against each other and constantly comparing isn't sitting back and enjoying what we're given and seeing the magic in it all.

My wife and I went to the Disney on Ice show, the Frozen edition, earlier this month. It was packed (this was the last show in Phoenix and a Monday night performance) and it seemed that almost everyone of the young girls were dressed as Elsa with a smattering of Annas thrown in for good measure. Even saw a few boys dressed as Hans and a couple Olafs. When "Let It Go" played, well... let's just say, it gave new meaning to the term "surround sound!" "Frozen" may not be as popular now as when the movie first released, but it is definitely still popular.

New Star Wars Nighttime Spectacular Announced, Set to Make Theme Park History Disney Parks Blog

I heard that they are leaving and snow white and aurora are going back in... but no one REALLY knows until it happens

That makes a lot of sense since they just cut Aurora from Epcot. And Dream along with Mickey, which featured classic princesses, is being replaced with a more modern princess show. The classic princesses have to be represented somewhere.

ya! Right now they are in a nook in the corners of the park and its stupid! I can not wait to see the new show though! FINALLY Tiana is getting something!

Snow White no longer has a schedule in Germany starting May 8. Do you think they're pulling her also for this reason? Seems a little premature, unless Norway is ahead of schedule. It's so hard to find the classic princesses anymore!

i understand why Disney is doing it but I don't like it. I LOVE snow white. but i think she will be going to fairytale hall

I thought that Frozen was mediocre but I do understand why others like it. I did really enjoy Tangled though and wish that there was an attraction for that movie. Something besides bathrooms that is. ;)

I hope that Frozen draws people away from MK into Epcot since we only plan to visit MK and AK for at least the next several years. MK is just too blasted crowded!

While the force will be strong at the studios I wouldn't be surprised if over the summer they did a little extra Frozen related stuff to usher in the new area at Epcot
