Frozen summer fun

Ooh interesting - thanks for posting! I wonder if any of the Frozen things in HS will be available on FP+? Will be interesting to see how it develops.

Based on last year it will only be the sing a long on FP+.

They will sell you an over priced package though ;) (We did the package in the first wave last year and it was just about a good value then they added extra days and put the package price up a LOT :sad2: )

Been reading about the package - seemed to be $59 for adults - not sure for children. The reviews seemed very positive.
I am sure something similar will take place this year! It appears there are 3 main bits to the package which are pretty much spread throughout the day, which from what I gather, would mean most of a full day at HS. My plan is already complete so I'll have to see if I can change things around if this does come out and it seems worth it - dependent on price and what is offered.

It the original was $59 for 10+ and $34 for 3-9 for the mid summer dates. They sold out and Disney extended it and the packages for the new dates were $69 for 10+ and $39 for 3-9. They sold out too!

They then did a holiday package which was $89 for 10+ And $59 per child!

I would expect this summers pricing if they offer it again to be in line with the holiday pricing :sad2:

Thanks Elise. Hmm at 5 x $89 and 1 x $59, I'm not sure we'll do this.

What exactly was the 'holiday package'? Did it differ from the original one in any way? The review I saw of the dessert party did look great, but the author said that the party was tweaked as time went on and it wasn't as good in her opinion - less offerings but more expensive - sounds familiar!

All I need now is for them to release a Villains Unleashed event while we are there and we will be seriously bankrupt - BBB (where I am now considering the dress pack for both girls!), Wishes Cruise, possible Frozen event - they know how to squeeze the excess $ out don't they lol!

I think the holiday package included osbourne lights too though...and SEATS..LOL I would gladly pay more if I could get a seat this year. Last summer we stood at high tables for the dessert party...I got my moneys worth in cocktails though...:rolleyes1

Thanks Tinker - I don't think the Osborne lights are on when we are there anyway!

I'd be happy to stand if it was going to save us a fair amount of money. Honestly, it's like economy and premium - ha ha!

The holiday package had viewing of the Osbourne Lights instead of the firework viewing as the fireworks weren't done past September.

I honestly can't see the price going done Disney just doesn't do that

Unless they learnt serious lessons from last year's Villains Unleashed, run away. Run far, far away!
