So my vacation planner made my fast pass ressies, I noticed she got us one for the Frozen Sing A Long at Hollywood Studios. Has anyone done this, how good is it, and do I really need to use one of my fastpasses for it?

No, you don't need a fast pass for it. I just saw it the first time and enjoyed it much more then I thought. It was hysterical but I really didn't know what to expect.

Don't need a FP, but in our case we got one anyway just because we don't ride TOT. So FP+ was Star Tours, TSM, and sing a long, just because there were no other ride choices we wanted.

The theater is small, so any seat is a good one. So, if you can do a different FP (like TOT or Star Tours), do it.

As far as the show goes, it's o.k. If you have small kids, great. However, it does not compare to the new Frozen Live show in Disneyland. That show is magnificent!

Big theater (old American Idol stage) and felt we totally wasted our FP+ there because not only is it big but they let FP+ enter a space next to theater. Way before the show started they allowed all the SB to come in the same space and many of them entered the theater before we did. Felt the FP+ was kinda a rip off since the old theater did not work that way.

Show ........... if you are expecting lots of Anna & Elsa, nope. There are a couple historians that banter about the story and depending on which actors you get the show can be good, okay or please let me out. At this point we probably won't ever do it again. I would much rather see a show like DL got.

So, no don't waste a FP+ and if you have the time to work it in, sure why not but if not, not a major miss.

If you are going with little ones, they might enjoy it. DH and I did this by ourselves in January, did NOT get good historians imo and I thought it was a waste of time unless you needed a rest. I could not believe this was a Disney production in such a huge space. We basically watched clips from the movie while these two elderly people talked about it. I couldn't believe that they didn't have the main character actors sing or do anything worthwhile, and that Olaf wasn't the narrator. I was as disappointed with this as I was with the Jack Sparrow exhibit/show/whatever it was.

But I think I'm in the minority. I've never heard anyone except HopperFan sound like they agree with me.

We did it in May with a group of 8, because we had a 5 yr old girl with us. Have to say we all laughed, even the 12 year old boy. :) I would plan on taking it in. Not like there is an overabundance to do in DHS anyways.

We went only for our DGDs, but all the adults ended up loving it too. I guess we scored some ace historians, because they were hilarious. And lemme tell ya, the adults in our party are just about "Frozened-Out." Enjoyed it a lot and will def. be going again.
