I watched the ride through as well. The way the bodies of the animatronics move is amazing, but their faces are creepy. I'm also not impressed that there's no plot. It's not telling the story of Frozen.

I agree. I was very disappointed that there was no story line. Whenever I get to Disney World, I will go on it, but not super excited like I was before it opened.

We're watching a video of a ride evacuation right now from Frozen. It's pretty cool with the lights on. I think this is more exciting for the kiddo than if we were actually on the ride!

Is 7DMT still at 2 hours? wow guess that is the good and bad of FP. I agree that FAE will have long lines for quite some time as it is a very slow loading / low capacity ride

Making me a bit nervous as I am worried I won't be able to get FP for it as we are staying offsite so have to wait until the 30 day mark

Good luck! I was able to get FPs for a July 23rd at the 30 day mark. I made sure that I was awake by 6am local time (7am Eastern) when FPs open up, and got FP for 2 for 3:50 - 4:50 pm. I just checked for July 24th and nothing was available, so I believe the trick is trying first thing FPs open up in the morning. Also, MDE on the phone app showed no FPs available, but I was able to find them using the Disney website on a computer.

While Mine Train still has long waits, it is fairly simple to get a FP for it especially a few days before or even the day of. I've done it multiple times with parties of one, two, and even up to five. You will not have an issue. If you don't see it the night before or morning of, check back later in the day.

In terms of Frozen, it appears to be a similar scenario.

I'm not the only one? I was wondering if one of the resellers of disney props had it so I could buy it. I have no need or place to put it but I liked that part as well

Ride died again today...

This is what the norway side looks like when the ride has been broken for 2 hours and your standing in canada..



On the plus side, it's working.. Everyone is standing over there and the rest of epcot is very nice and noboy crowding you. Now if we can rewind 2 weeks back before the heat with humidity was out.. it was brutal until the rain started today.

Nope. Nope nope. Can't and won't do that. I groaned whenever Nordstrom extended out the building. I can't with that, haha.

It's really unfortunate that it's located in a horrible place in terms of the queue and room to house all these people.

So at the end of the ride are you forced into a theater to watch Frozen now? That may explain the wait time.

My first time on Maelstrom the folks I was with shoved me through the Norway movie and I felt badly for the people who had to work there. #worstjobever

Yes, I always used to stay for the movie, and make those I was with do the same, because I always felt bad for the CM's who watched all the people run through to get out before the doors closed.
