Frozen Ride Now Open!!!

I also watched a video of it and I have to say, the animatronics done that way do look very cartoonish and for a smaller child, I think that's rather exciting for them to see the character the same way it was in the film..

I think it looks like an awesome little dark ride in the vein of Snow White, Peter Pan, and others.

6 hours...eh? I suppose if your all about the parks anything new is exciting

It's cute and from the video, the projections seem to be impressive. I would like to ride it at some point, but I wouldn't use my tier 1 FP on this and I wouldn't wait more than 30 min. I'm really thankful that my girls are over Frozen.

It looks cute, but no ride is worth a six hour wait time.

Seriously, Ryno better get a nice bonus for enduring that in the Florida sun.

um, he got a Mickey Bar ... hopefully he saved 1/3 of it for taxes though since he was compensated with that while there on the job

I watched the ride through as well. The way the bodies of the animatronics move is amazing, but their faces are creepy. I'm also not impressed that there's no plot. It's not telling the story of Frozen.

Like it or not Frozen is here to stay and will be up there with the likes of the little mermaid

Norway should embrace it. It when from probably the least to most popular pavillon in EPCOT

Am I the only one who barely pays any attention to the "plot" or "storyline" of a ride?

I'm not mocking those who do....I completely get it.

But when I ride something, I'm not thinking of that kind of thing. I'm focused on:

-The ride movement itself
-The sights/smells/feel of the ride
-Whether I'd want to do it again

I know there's probably a "plot" to Splash, Winnie the Pooh, etc., but I couldn't really tell you what they are. And again, I'm not mocking those who pay attention to plot/storyline. It just doesn't even cross my mind.

I'm probably just a weirdo.

I'm 100% with you on that, King. Most of the ride storylines are totally lost on me. Even in the queues.

Even when I've heard the storyline explained, I might have one or two seconds on the ride where I think, "Ah, okay... I see now..." but I still miss about 99% of any story.

I think I'm weird in that I look for 'backstage' things on a ride. "Oh, look. There is the edge of the screen." or "Wow, I see how this ride moves on the track now!"

Fyi - looks like ride is down and they are evacuating people and draining the water

I guess they did do it this morning according to photo evidence of Orlando United. However they must have re-filled it because touring plans was back in FP line 20 minutes ago.

Not really (well not at first, eventually you have been on it enough that your starting to pay attention differently). Case in point, prime evil whirl is actually part 2 of dinosaur if you pay attention to the minimal theming and signs on that ride. It starts when the meteor hits at the end of dinosaur.

I'm with you llama-man.
And because I've not been a million times, I don't have time to re-ride over and over to "get" the storyline for the most part
