I really want to try this ride but the breakdowns are making it very difficult to say the least. Yesterday we did road drop but when we arrived at Frozen they said they would be opening at least an hour late.Tonight as we waited in line they had a delay and then evacuated the ride.We will try again tomorrow!

I´m always reading about this breakdowns. Probably super disappointing for those who have FP.

I felt really bad for the tired little kids that were so close to being able to ride and being disappointed.

A couple of days ago it broke in the moment our FP window opened. Kind CM at Guest Relations set us up another for our upcoming Epcot day. we'll see. ...

We were there on Saturday, and it was broken down, we didn't have a fast pass, but we may have waited anyway.

It's frustrating for sure. We also had FP for Saturday evening but were unable to ride due to a breakdown. We were given the option of another FP for a different ride in Epcot or for FEA the following day. We weren't able to take advantage of either as we weren't returning to Epcot and had already done the other rides we were interested in. PIus, it was getting late and DS was exhausted. I would have been a lot more disappointed had I not ridden the ride in June the week it opened.

We never got to ride it during 4th of July weekend because of ride breakdowns. Our FP did us no good. On Labor Day, we got the dreaded "ride down" email about 30 minutes before our FP window opened. We finally got to ride it later that night, but it went down again while we were in line. CMs tried to get us to leave and told us our FPs were good all night, but we had other evening plans, so it was our last chance for the trip. We waited close to an hour and finally got on. The whole thing was very frustrating.

I've noticed it down a number of times over the last few months... It really puts a strain on TT and Soarin. That and Pirates seem to be rides that have some issues.

Went Halloween weekend, broken. Didn't come up for many hours. Never got to ride.

DS went just before Thanksgiving, rope drop, broken. Waited 2 hours to ride.

Odds happens to us both? .....

They obviously have a problem with this thing.

So, between us we covered 4th of July, Labor Day, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. FEA is 4-for-4 for holiday outages.

I rode successfully on 7/1. However, this thread is helping me walk away. I can't get FP for our upcoming last-minute trip, and I don't want to mess with rope drop and not get on. Especially since 3/5 of my family thought it was lame. (I loved it though, but I am a sucker for Olaf.)

Well we have tried four times on three different days and are here now and still haven't ridden it. After last night's breakdown when we almost made it they gave us an anytime FP good for three days. Tried earlier this evening and it was down, we just stopped and the standby was 105 min. And the FP line is all the way back to the WS walkway. A CM said a 50 min wait for FP if it keeps going. We have a dinner in 45 min. so we will pass and try again tomorrow. We did wait in line for about 10 min. and we never moved.Glad to hear we aren't the only ones. They really need to figure this out!

We rode once in August and once in November. Both times Elsa's arm was not working and was stuck in an awkward position. Sort of frozen there. Haha. I guess I'm lucky it was open though!

I managed to snag three FPs for our November trip. It was down during two of them.

It broke down twice last week on the day we had FPs for it. We did get to ride it, but it was after dark. And, the FP line stretched all the way to the entrance of the Norway pavilion!

We were, thankfully, able to ride it our last trip. It was the ride I was looking forward to the most, and our FP was for 1:30...prime afternoon breakdown period...so I was sweating it the whole morning. However, I did notice that the next day it was down virtually the whole day. We enjoyed the ride. My 18 year old daughter liked it and she HATES Frozen.

So... if breakdowns are the norm, on this brand new ride, what the heck did they do wrong, and maybe it's time to shut it down for awhile and fix it? I'm sorry, this is completely unacceptable. A ride this new shouldn't have this many problems. But when you look at RoL, maybe that's becoming the new norm for Disney? Rushing through to push things out before they're ready? Then dealing with the failures?
