We tried to go to the frozen meet and greet today. People were in line starting an hour before opening and the CMs there said the line is usually 75 minutes or longer all day.

Aww, to bad. We were able to do it on Friday. We got in line 15-20 mins before the posted time of opening. There was probably 5 families ahead of us.

The sisters are really cute.

My husband went over to the meet & greet yesterday around 10 am while I rode IASWH. He was told that the line wouldn't even start until 15 minutes before, but they set it up and started it about 20-30 minutes prior. There was already a line forming outside the queue area. They were really fun to meet and I can't wait to see the movie!!!

It's such a great movie! Wonder if they'll still be there in January? DD5 is in love with Anna and I love Elsa!

New character meet & greet? Is it on the schedule? We will be there next week....

Yes, it will be on the schedule. On Friday it started at 11 am (9 am opening). Go early though, a line started 15-30 mins before scheduled opening.

Today we showed up 30 min before stating time and there was a line maybe 50 people long. The CMs said it was easily a 45-60 min line at that point plus the 30 min wait for it to open. Crazy!

My sister took my girls to it on Friday (it was rainy). At about 12:30, the wait was only about 20 minutes (it was posted as 30 minutes. I had went to do our "before 1:00" with the CS receipt coupon shopping and made it over to them just as they were coming out of the M & G - so I just missed getting to take picts of my girls meeting them. My sister did get a few picts, but she's not the photographer in the family ;)). My girls wore their new Frozen dresses and my sister said the characters spent a lot of time talking to them (she was impressed).

Woah!

This movie is going to be a big hit for Disney and there is little doubt in my mind that this Meet and Greet will still be around for the rest of the "Winter" months. ::yes::

Ugh, yeah, I figured that. Hopefully a Tuesday won't be too bad. Will have to put that on the "to do" list for first thing and hopefully get in. DD will be in her Elsa costume so have to do it!

It was, er, interesting today. The guide stated the hours were 11 AM - 5 PM, but the opening somehow became scheduled for noon. There were "some problems" and the time would be pushed back for an indefinite period. It was about 12:40 when the first guests were let into the chalet.

Is there a better time to go than opening?

When does it typically open on a weekday?

Do they close before park closing?

OH! I am so excited about this! We LOVED the movie. We all thought it was great. DD6 will be so excited to meet them if they are still there in February. (I am hopeful!) Sounds like fun.

I hope so too for you.
I checked the calendar for the Frozen meet and greet, and the last date shown is Thursday, January 30, 2014.
But who knows maybe it will be extended?

Mom2rtk: ask the cm's but 20 or 11-5 sounds like the usual schedule when rapunzel was there. Often rapunzel took a break sometime before 3 and when she came back 3-330ish was a great time to wait less. Ask the cm that morning once it's open. The schedule totally varies there and they may have a different plan since the movie just opened but it's possible it's similar. The cm's are usually good there about letting you know what's up and it's right in the middle of everything so was to stop by.
