Frozen meet and 2 year old ticket question

My DD2 knows we're going to Disneyland someday as does my DS4. However they don't realize we're going in November (first week so we miss Halloween and Christmas). We keep telling them maybe next year or the year after (they won't know until we wake them up in the hotel to get ready to go to the park lol). We've been talking to them about the park and showing them pictures and videos. My daughter has told us that she wants to meet Elsa and wear her Elsa dress (she has the one with a button on it that plays 15 seconds of "Let it Go!"). I'm wondering what the actual meet is like. Do you get a minute or 2 alone/semi-alone in a room like meeting Mickey or is it more public?

Also has anyone ever had any trouble with a 2 year old and ticketing? She'll be 2.5 when we go and I just don't want to have to verify somehow that she's under 3 (don't know how we would anyway).

I have never had the CM's at the gate question the age of my son (when he was 2 - 3 years old). The pretty much presume if you're not giving them a ticket for your child, it's because they're under 3. Unfortunately, that leaves room for people to abuse the system and stretch the truth, but unless your 2 year old is really big for her age making people assume she's older, they won't even question it.

I haven't done the Elsa/Anna meet, but I believe you do get a few moments in a room with them...I don't know if it's completely closed off like Mickey, but even with his you usually have a couple of different families in there at the same time.

The M&G is with a FP now. There may be a few families in the room with you.
You do not need to provide anything for verification of your child's age.

Our last trip was in March 2015.
We pulled a FP for the meet n' greet with A&E. You'll need to have a FP for everyone in your group with a ticket.
We returned to the wait line and when it was our turn we were directed into a private area.
There we were able to chat with them and have special pictures taken.
We had the PP+ and the Disney Photographer took several pics of the kids with A&E.
We didn't feel rushed. I think we were with them about 5 minutes or so.

The Frozen meet is in a private room so there won't be any other families in there with your or waiting in the same room. They bring each family in separately. They are located in the Animation Building in DCA, FP machines are out front. If you pull a FP then your return time usually isn't too far out, usually only 30min to an hour, then you come back and wait in a pretty short line before they take you in to meet them.
There is also a Frozen Sing-a-long in DCA which might be fun.
I would also suggest seeing the Frozen show at the Royal Theatre in DL. It's really cute and the kids will enjoy it. They used to have FP for this too, but I'm not sure if they still do.

As others have said, you do not need anything to prove the age of your child. It's taken on the honor system that the child is under 3. That being said, once in a while, the ticket gate CM will ask the child how old they are. I've had this happen once when I had an almost three year old with me (she was two years and eleven months and fairly big for her age - she's in the 95 percentile for height and weight). It's only happened once, but it's something that can happen. I honestly have no idea what would have happened if she'd said she was three...I didn't have her birth certificate with me prove she wasn't yet three.

That's just what I was hoping to hear. My daughter has been singing "Let it Go" since the movie came out on Blu Ray. She'll be thrilled to actually meet Elsa and Anna especially if they get a few moments alone.
