Frozen Holiday Wish - how early to arrive

I'm looking for advice on alternate viewing locations. I know we won't be able to see characters, but will we be able to see at least the big affect? Say, from mid-Main Street or even from behind the castle? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Main Street is your best view, you can go as far down as Town Square, as long as you can see the castle from the front you are fine

Check this thread by yulilin ~ stating Frozen Holiday Wish at 7:00p nightly even on Party nights!

Frozen Holiday Wish starts Nov. 2nd at 7pm, showing nightly. On Nov 6th it goes to 6:30pm, once the MVMCP starts it'll be at 6:30pm and 8:15pm
And it's showing on the daily schedule https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/calendars/magic-kingdom/2016-11-02/#timeofday=allday
P.S. the daily schedule is up to date until Nov 26th

After the last show, will they leave the castle lighted up for a while? I don't want to see the show (we have a dining reservation while it's on) but I'd like to see the castle lights.
