Frozen Fun

I would go to Olaf right at opening (or as soon as you get there). I went a little after opening a few weeks ago and got a pager and told it would be about 35 minutes. By about an hour after park opening, the line to get the pager said an hour. So for those folks that's a hour waiting for the pager (in a line) and then another 30+ with the pager. After you get the pager, you can wander around the Frozen area of DCA (it works from about Playhouse Disney to the Aladdin theater - at least that's what the CM said). I would then go get the A&E and Sing Along FPs or at least see what the return times are so that they aren't likely in the next hour or so.

Thanks so much!!

Olaf first. Either play in the snow or go grab fastpasses to the sing a long and Anna and Elsa while waiting for your pager to go off. We went on Tues - park opened at 8 and was very busy. Grabbed Anna and Elsa passes around 9:00 and return time was 1:30. They let a few people into each show standby, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Someone who was there very recently said they are no longer doing the pagers for Olaf. I think it's just a line now.

We were there last week and no pagers. We were told Olaf only was there for 30 minutes and you could wait in line outside, but if you missed seeing him, you'd have to wait through a 30 minute break for him to come out again. We decided to chance it -- waiting 10 minutes outside for them to take us in (I waited, my DD went to play in the snow). We got to see him no problem -- the guy inside was much better, said they wouldn't have brought us in if we couldn't see him. But it was a bit stressful after hearing so much about pagers and then having that not be an option.

Thanks again for all of the tips! We went to Olaf first and were the first ones to meet him today. There were about 5-6 cast members at the entrance and they were almost blocking the doors. It was a little weird because we weren't sure if we could enter or not. Finally one of them just moved out of the way a little. Even after seeing pictures, we were amazed at the snow and decor! Next we grabbed Fast Passes for Anna and Elsa with a return time of 8:30 to 8:50. We went to the Sing A Long, but were told there were no FPs for the 9:00 show. We went into the Animation building to wait for our FP time, but we were able to enter the line 10 minutes early. We made it to the 9:00 Sing A Long with time to spare! Success!! :)

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but we walked through the PFF area yesterday and I saw Anna and Elsa greeting guests after their show. I thought this was pretty big news people might be interested in.
