I am going to WDW in December with my twin 7 year old grandchildren. Of course they eat, sleep & breath "Frozen". Anyone hear about anything like the "Frozen Summer Fun" for the winter months? I can't imagine that there won't be something, since Frozen is all about winter.

The same cast and props will be used for MNSSHP and MVMCP that is why the program ends just before the start of MNSSHP and it's why something similar to what is going on now likely won't be offered again before next year...

Sorry. I'll be there in Sept, so I'm in the same boat.

so we will have to go to a party in order to see any of it?! :(

I'm sure they will add Anna and Elsa to the christmas party this year due to the popularity but the whole event in DHS will end. They will still have the meet and greet and a remake of maelstrom is still supposedly happening.

Those cast members and props will be doing MNSSHP and MVMCP stuff from Sept to Dec. They won't be doing Frozen. Disney might incorporate some Frozen to the parties, but a Frozen experience like what is happening now at DHS is very unlikely.

Given the success of this summer event and Frozen in general I'm sure they will be working on something for the winter but who knows. They might hold off whilst working on something far bigger perhaps?

My DD6 would love even just the sing along. EVERYtime we're in the car, she asks to listen to the CD. My DGS1 sings along in baby language.

For some of the things that makes sense, but it also seems things like the sing-a-long would be really easy and cheap to keep.

I think continuing the sing along would be a wonderful idea. It was so much fun and really was great for people who love the movie. The ice skating and snowman building were cute, but I wasn't tremendously impressed. I see enough snow in NJ winters! Lol

Our Disney trip with Daughter and 4 grandkids is scheduled for February 2015, and I sure hope that something will be scheduled. I just can't think that Disney would let something this "big" fade away. So I am hoping for a February (or sooner) return to DHS for Frozen!

While all of the media is advertising "Frozen SUMMER Fun" none of the banners in DHS make any reference to summer. This leads me to believe the event will be extended through the fall and in to the winter.

I agree that it will not continue in its current set up, as others have mentioned many of the props are used for other events across WDW, but I would be very surprised if the success of the movie and the event were not utilized in some way in that park throughout the year.

Imagine if The Osbourne Lights were hosted by Anna, Elsa, and Olaf

Excuse my ignorance!
What do the letters
MNSSHP & MVMCP mean?

I would actually really hate that. Don't get me wrong, we love Frozen in our house, but they have nothing to do with Osbourne Lights. I actually even think DHS is an odd place for the Frozen Summer Fun. I know there is room for it there, but it really fits best at MK (although I know it would have created bedlam there)

fingers crossed for a frozon. Maybe frozon will be extend to December 1st hay you never know with some :tinker: pixiedust: anything can happen after all it is Disneyworld.

I can see that but they would have to take away the parade they use those floats for the Christmas parade at MK.

I don't think it would because of animal kingdoms mickeys jamming jungle parade and those Floats are available for use or a makeover ..

Even so, the parade isn't the big draw, in my opinion. The sing along and fireworks were our favorites and would love to see them again when we return in January!
