My DD and I are thrilled with the 'Frozen Summer' extension as it will now be on while we're there!!

The one part that isn't working out is that we won't be in DHS on a weekend so the fireworks are not on the day we'll attend. (Unable to change days for various reasons.)

Anyway, I would still like us to see the fireworks but am wondering what our options are outside the park? Someone mentioned the bud area near the Pop Century bus was good but that the music was faint.

Someone else mentioned the walkway between DHS and the Boardwalk is good. Does anyone know if the music is piped in along this walkway? That might be a great option for us!

This is probably a 'no' but I'm wondering if we'd be allowed to stand at the entrance turnstiles that are closed for the night? Normally by park closing they are final king the majority of people out a few turnstiles and the others are closed. I'm pretty sure we'd be encouraged to 'move along' but it's a great option...in my head! ;o)

Thanks for any help or suggestions you might have

to a podcast from Three Moms And The Mouse. They are all travel agents that work for different travel agencies. One had recently been at WDW. She comented on the great view of the fireworks from the Beach Club. I think she mentioned the water area.

It was a recent oneso it should not be too hard to find.

Thanks, I'll do that.

Sorry...silly question. How do I locate the Podcasts?

I'd suggest walking right up to the front gate to watch.

You can easily hear the music (it is loud enough) and you can easily view the fireworks.

We were at DHS last month. After the Fantasmic show we had tired kids and wanted to leave...just as the fireworks began. We left the park, but watched the fireworks from the area between the bag check and the ticket booths for a while.

It was better than watching the fireworks from inside the park...no crowds.

If you want to avoid paying for parking, then park in the lot behind the Hess station. Then walk from the Boardwalk to DHS (about a 15-20 minute walk).

This is great kid freeper! Thanks!! That was my first choice but I wasn't sure if they'd try to move us along. We're going to be tight for time as I'm planning on going the night we arrive. Our flight lands at 6:30 and we'll be taking DME to Pop Century. If all goes well we'll check in and get our MBs (need to pick up at the desk as we're Canadian and they don't ship internationally). We're going to drop our bags in our room and then head to the DHS. Hopefully we'll make it in time for the 9:45 start of the fireworks that night.

If anything goes wrong we'll need to make a Plan B but since it will be night 1 of our 10 day Disney adventure we'll have other opportunities to fit it in!

Thanks for your answer. That was exactly what I was hoping we'd be able to do!!
