We've been invited to a "Blender Party". Everyone has to bring their blenders plus all the ingredients to make a drink. There'll be about 20 people at the party. Anyone have a good recipe for anything other than a pina colada? That's the only drink I can think of, but I'm hoping for something a little different. Thanks.

I wish I had the exact measurements for strawberry daquaries. But I just wing it!
This is what I put in it I just sample all the way....YUM!!!!!!!
frozen strawberries (whole no sugar added)
fresh strawberries
sugar
light rum
frozen lemon lime juice ( cans)(if you can't find this buy one lemon and one lime)
Ice

Fill blender with rum about 4 inches up (sorry not sure how much)
add about 1/2 can of frozen lemon lim juice
fill with strawberries. I usually add more frozen ones so you have less ice to add.
Then taste add sugar if needed it depends on the berries.
If the frozen berries are bland then use more fresh and some ice.

Give it a try!

I have the easiest and yummiest ever:

Baileys Irish Cream
Ice

mix together and serve frappe style: yummy

you can add coffee icecream but my husband claims this ruins it.

About 1 1/2 shots each of Kaluah, Baileys & Vodka. Add in Breyers vanilla icecream, and ice. Blend until smooth. Serve plain or top with whip cream or whip cream and crushed oreos(or any other topping you can think of).

I'm so glad this thread is here - these look great. I ordered a smoothie maker from QVC over the weekend, so I can use some recipes. The machine looks great - it chops the ice really quickly and it has a spout on the bottom you pour the drink from. Anyway, lately I've been making watermelon daiquiris. It's just frozen chunks of watermelon, lime juice, light rum & sugar. You don't even need to add ice.
