We have always waited at Liberty Square. I saw someone else went through Adventureland. Is one faster than the other or less crowded?

Not really.

Splash and Big Thunder are not generally "busy" a rope drop (or for about an hour, or so, after.)

Following, as we are heading over to BTMR, and then making our way back into Adventureland!

That won't be a problem, entering from either Liberty Square bridge or Adventureland bridge.

In fact, you might consider riding Jungle Cruise or Pirates BEFORE heading to Big Thunder.
(If you choose to do THAT, then enter via Adventureland.)

We went through Adventureland with a few other people and beat the crowd coming from Liberty Square, but they held us at the bridge in front of Splash until the group caught up. So, in the end it didn't really matter since we all got to BTMR at the same time.

Good to know!
And do you have to be in that spot in Adventureland or Liberty Square during the morning show?
Basically getting a good spot to see the show AND get a good spot to get to BTMR?

Much easier to do at/near the Liberty Square bridge.
Castle stage is not easily seen from near Adventureland bridge.

At RD, it seems most everyone is headed to 7DMT or PP.
Most every other ride has short lines for at least the first 30-60 minutes.
We have walked onto SM, Buzz, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, BTMRR at RD with nearly no wait and had the option to ride again.

We watch the Welcome Show at a good spot in front of the castle and then head over. You really don't need to be at the head of the pack. There isn't much of one and it tends to disperse pretty well among the attractions in Adventureland and Frontierland.

I normally agree with this and it matches what we often do - hang to the left side of the Hub (if facing the castle) closer to the Liberty Square bridge, but not so close we can’t see the stage. We’ll watch the show then quickly head to the bridge. Once you get past the bridge squeeze, it’s usually easy and we’ll head straight to BTMR.

However, experiences can be different on any given day or time of year. We did this 1/2/19 (a very busy time of year) and encountered a much heavier rope drop crowd on the Liberty Square bridge side than we were used to and a very stout line almost immediately developed at BTMR (which I will partially blame on only one side running on this particular morning, but it was also due to heavy volume). Big difference than other times (eg, July 2018) where we could easily get in two BTMR rides at rope drop with minimal effort or waits.

Anyways, this is still one of our preferred morning strategies, but just be prepared in case you’re going over a major holiday or crowd day.

Good point. Crowds can kill the best laid plans.

We tried the adventureland route and it wasn't any faster than liberty square. We just kind of merged with their rope drop crowd.

The way the park is laid out, FL is practically in between the LS & AL entrances. With LS you go up and then back down in to FL while from AL you go straight and then up. So, I'd consider it a wash.

If anything, it does seem like we tend to line up at LS entrance so if that's a natural tendency for others like myself then it's possible the AL entrance might not have as many people. But that's purely anecdotal.

Pretty much.

Robo: I thought you would be the one to ask... Has the 3 pm parade route changed recently? It used to start over by Splash Mt. but I recently read where now it starts by the Firehouse and ends at Splash.. Which is it, please... I need to know for next month. Thanks in advance - SOOO Much!

1. Has the 3 pm parade route changed recently?
2. It used to start over by Splash Mt. but I recently read where now it starts by the Firehouse and ends at Splash..
3. Which is it, please...

1. Not that I've heard of.
2. Doesn't sound right, but they do have the option of going either direction at any given parade time.
You can certainly just ask a CM in the park that day, as the direction MIGHT "change" for any given performance.
3. If there is a "permanent change" we should be able to get updated reports soon.
