Frontier Airlines question

Does anyone know if Magic Express still pick you up at Orlando airport if you fly Frontier airlines? Our guidebook doesn't list Frontier as a partner airline....

Partner (or participating) airline only matters for using RAC (Resort Airline Check-in, which is just curbside check-in, but at your hotel) - which airline you use is not an issue for getting to and from your hotel.

You actually don't even need to fly to use DME. You can just call and give them a time that you need to get from MCO to your resort. Same for going back to MCO.

Does Frontier participate in RAC?

No, they don't. But it's no big deal, bring your luggage on the bus and check in at the airport. You can still use DME.

Thanks for the responses. We've never flown Frontier before, but may on our August trip so we didn't know, if we had to grab our luggage or RAC would handle it. We're fine either way.

We fly Frontier all the time. Like others have said the airline you fly doesn't matter for ME transportation. You just can't check your luggage at the resort if you aren't with a participating airline. We rarely check bags but when we do we just have to go to the Frontier desk to check them in.

Dis703, we usually fly JB or SWA. At the moment Frontier has the best price for our August trip, but we are waiting on Feb 8 for SWA to expand their schedule to include our dates. Since you fly Frontier a lot how are they with on time flights? I hear that many get delayed 2 or 3 hours. Is this true? What is your experience?

Dis703, we usually fly JB or SWA. At the moment Frontier has the best price for our August trip, but we are waiting on Feb 8 for SWA to expand their schedule to include our dates. Since you fly Frontier a lot how are they with on time flights? I hear that many get delayed 2 or 3 hours. Is this true? What is your experience?

We've actually landed early more often than not. I only had one delay taking off and that was because the flight getting to us was coming from an area with snow storms and had to take the time to de-ice. But we made up time in the air and still landed on time.

I know the one thing to be aware of is that they don't have a lot of flights each day, but that also depends on the airport. There are some airports it's literally one flight a day or even less and may only fly every other day. I typically fly out of Philly, which isn't the closest airport to me, because they have more like 4 or 5 flights per day. Giving me at least a shot at a getting out the same day if there is a cancellation.​

I believe on arrival it does not matter what airline you use as they will grab the bags for you (if arriving from the US/Canada) and deliver them to your resort. If I am wrong someone please let me know.

So basically use the yellow tags on your way to Disney but on the way home you will have to bring your luggage on the DME and they will put it under the bus and you check it yourself at MCO.
