Frontier 24-hour cancellation policy question

Does anyone know if this fine print -

"Itineraries may be cancelled without fare penalties for reservations booked within the past 24 hours. "

- means that I can book today & then cancel without penalty for a full refund within 24 hours?

They have a GREAT "Today Only" rate online for dates I was toying with (in 3 weeks), but I can't get work approval to have the days off until tomorrow afternoon. I'm nervous that the rates will go back up tomorrow since its called a "Today Only" rate.

I think I answered my own question after digging further on the Frontier site...

"I need to cancel my ticket. What should I do?

If you purchased your ticket at FlyFrontier.com or through our Reservations Department at 800-432-1FLY (1359), you may request a full refund up to 24 hours after the time of purchase. This ticket may be canceled and refunded at the My Flights section on FlyFrontier.com or through our Reservations Department at 800-432-1FLY (1359)."

Looks like I will be purchasing tickets tonight!!

It's a law that airlines have to allow a 24 hour cancellation for flights booked more than 1 week ahead.

I believe the law that requires airlines to post prices including all taxes also requires them to make tickets fully refundable within 24 hours of booking.

Thanks ladies...looks like I will be booking tonight & hopefully by this time tomorrow night I'll have added a new ticker!!!!! It's only $121 RT from PA to MCO - that is dirt cheap, and I was toying with going the 2nd week of December for awhile now, just for 3 nts to see the holiday decor. I work in retail manangement so it's next to impossible to go at this time, but the opportunity came up so I better grab it!

Tara - I recently booked a December dirt-cheap non-stop on Frontier from Bloomington, IL (BMI) to Orlando - even though I already had a Delta ticket. However, the next day I came to my senses, and decided not to throw away a minimum of $150 (Delta's change fee) - and possibly more if I didn't travel again on Delta within a year of the original booking. I had no problem cancelling the Frontier ticket within 24 hours.
