I was wondering whether to purchase standard admission tickets for Universal or the Front of the Line passes. I don't mind the extra cost if the parks are crowded. I'm going the last week in Oct and I've never been there that time of year. If it's not crowded during the week, are the regular tickets good enough?

I had an AP last year - and the only time the cost of the front of the line pass seemed even close to being worth it was the week between Christmas and New Years. Many days the lines were really short and I felt sorry for those that popped for that very expensive extra benefit.

It is cheaper usually to buy in advance on the net. Also true for the all-you-can-eat pass.

How about the week of February break 02/12-02/20?? We are taking my kids from NY and I am thinking about the front of the line pass for us...Do you think the parks will be crowded? and you do not get this feature staying onsite??? I know we get it in Florida....
