Front Of Line and Check Out

Hi!

My oldest dd has decided she wants to try Universal or IOA this next trip. We're renting a house this year, but we arrive a day before we get in the house. I was thinking of staying at Royal Pacific for our arrival night and going to Universal or IOA our first full day in ORL. But I'm not sure if the front of line access is still good on the day you check out. I've searched through the various threads and the Universal site and can't find info on when it expires.

Also, will RP hold our bags for us like Disney does until we're ready to leave the park that day? And can you use the pool on check out day like you can at Disney?

I've already ordered my Loews first card and have a Universal Fan Card Code. Any other hints/tips for first timers?

The best rate I've found so far is on the Universal Fan Card site for a room and the special 2 park/7 day tickets.

Your FOTL is good the entire day you check out. Just check out, but keep your room key. The hotel will hold your luggage for you. You can use the pools too.Since you joined Loews first. you can use the gym and even shower there before you leave.

If you can flip things around that would work better.
Meaning, see if you can get into the house the day your arrive, stay during the week, then visit USF/IOA at the end of the stay. The reason many suggest this, is once you try FOTL, you'll be spoiled and won't like waiting in lines at Disney. The best plan is to visit Disney for a few days, check into the RPR very early at 7am because the room may be ready, get your magic keys, and visit a park. If your room is not ready they'll hold your bags, and call you when it is. The next morning you can visit the parks in the morning, check out, and go back to them before leaving. Again,the hotel will hold your bags until you leave. You just have to tip the bell boys.

YES! Get there as early as you want. If your room isn't ready, they'll give you room keys to use for your FOTL and hold your luggage until your room is ready.
On your check out day, just check out and keep your key. They will hold your luggage and you can enjoy the parks all day of your check out too.

Would go along with Robivas advice, and leave universal to the end.
We went last year and did not listen to the advice [well i already had my hol booked with a TA and would have cost to change things about] boy did we hate having to queue at Disney.
