Has anyone applied transfers to front and back of t-shirts? Wondering if this will work.

I haven't personally done it but look in Kellybell's trip thread that should be on the first page of the creative board and you will see pics of her shirts. She has images on the front and back of her shirts. I have also seen t-shirts where people put things on the front, back and sleeves. Long answer for yes it can and has been done and seems to work well.

One last comment...use Amy Mickey's iron ons...they work better than all of the ones that I have tried from Walmart, Michaels, Hobby Lobby and office supply stores.

I just did this on my "test" tshirt and it worked quite well. I even forgot to put something in between the shirt so it wouldn't stick but it didn't matter. I don't know if it makes a difference but I used Amy's transfers. The are super easy to use and look amazing!

Are they the ones you don't have to invert the image on? I have heard they are the ones to use.

Correct - you do not have to invert the image when using Amy's transfers. This is the first time that I have ever used iron on transfers (I am not crafty at all) and it was soooo easy.

I've used images on the front and some on both for my trip.

For one of my shirts I had a small mickey head on the breast and on the back a larger image for that particular day. :thumbsup2

Here is a link to my thread of shirts I did for our June trip. Most were only on the front, but I did 2 on front and back. I put a cookie sheet with a towel around it inside the shirt so they would not stick. My sister-in-law also made some and used a glass, heat resistant cutting board inside the shirt.

I agree with the above poster, Amy's transfers were great and very easy to use. This was the first time I made shirts and the girls loved them. :cutie:
