Sadie and Chewy, today is Dimples bearthday! She turns 5 for the 4th time (she was born 5. She will always be 5) I bought her a bearthday cake on the way home from the gym. She hadn't had one since she turned 5 for the first time. She says to tell you "Celebearate! EAT CAKE"

Going to SeaWorld on Saturday to load up on candy and goodies. I'm hoping it will be cool enough for DD to wear her Stitch costume. If not she will be a pirate princess again. I think I have a pirate princess outfit for her in almost every size until she's 8! Stocked up at GoodWill and thift shops after Halloween. So I hope Disney doesn't end pirate night any time soon.

This is DD from our Feb cruise on pirate night.

She is too cute for words. Can't wait for grand-daughters that I can "dress up" Disney style.

Almost convinced DH to drive to Dland tonight. But then common sense told me clean the yard, do the chores. Your gonna be there in three weeks.

We had LOTS of rain Tuesday and it was cold. So now its in the 80s. Just another indian summer day here in California mid-October. I refuse to go to the pumpkin patch when its HOT. Kind of ruins the feelin of fall and

7 minutes away in Pismo Beach it was in the 90s! So what did we do? Beach day (after school)...and Saturday will probably be a beach day as well. Hot air and cold California ocean water, talk about refreshing! I wonder if we will see ColoBlu6 there...

We had T-storms yesterday and a rain shower today. Looking forward to getting on the Magic. From some accounts the Wonder will be in port tomorrow as well. That should make for an interesting pic if they do not move the Wonder far away.

I wish I could have been at the beach, I was driving to Goleta (Lemon Festival) for the weekend... My car said 104 when I was in traffic in Santa Barbara driving to my mom's..

Well, yesterday didn't turn out quite the way I planned. Spent 8 hours in the ER. Thought I might have the flu, but apparently the brochitus I had back in march never really left and chose yesterday to cause me a big problem. Never say never but I will have to be really REALLY sick to go back to the ER.

On the positive side, I'm excused from doing anything for a few days! No leaf raking, no gym ahhhhhhhh.

If both are in port, they will usually put the non departing ship on the west side of the middle turning basin or the east side of the west turning basin. Hope for the second of those as you'll have a great view of her from port.

That however rarely happens, and usually it's the middle turning basin that is used. In that case, you'll have a good view as you depart off the left side of the ship. I'm trying to find some pictures, but no luck.

Jeff is on his way up to WDW to meet up with Mom and I, but I can answer this for him. While he knows that he's working that day, he never knows where he is working until that day. Even then it's up for grabs. One of the last shifts he worked he wound up working almost every station on every beam. The best bet is to ask a cast member if they know where he is working that day or if they could ask a manager to find out.

Good Morning all. Mommaluvsdis, her DH, my DH and I all met up last night in The Villages. We will be heading for WDW in a few hours. Want to look around here a little first.

Had rain all the way from Ohio so we are hoping that the sun comes out soon. The temps sound like they are going to be great for the parks.
Denise said that they never hit rain until Ocala on their way in from Louisiana. Lucky them.

Linda, Sadie and Chewy told me to tell Dimples, Happy Birthday, and sorry they missed it yesterday. They were only able to keep their eyes open long enough to do their blog and we never got on the boards.

Sorry you are under the weather. Get better soon. At least you get out of work for a while.

Alan, have a great time on your cruise. We will be at WDW until the 31st so maybe we can meet up when you get back.

Jeff, hope to run into you on the monorail on the 24th.

Be glad you didn't drive over. My friend is there and it was packed, parking was a nightmare and the temp was 91. The Friday before last they stopped letting people in at one point, don't know if that was the case last night.

I am a little sad about missing all the Halloween layovers when we are there, but I won't be sad about missing the crowds!

I know we said we were going to hold off on lists for FE's, Secret Mickeys etc., but I am a bit anal. So bear with me. All of you who plan to participate in FE will you either post or PM me with your favorite character. This is my first Disney cruise and the FE things sounds like so much fun and I want to make something nice. DH and I are on low carb diets so trying to stay away from candy although it wont keep me away from those fabulous desserts I've seen pics of. And, not really into toys so our FE gifts will probably be geared more toward the adults, I figure the kids will have more than enough toys and candy from the posts I have seen. So, since there are so many of us if you could let me know now who you like it would make my life easier. If you drop out and I've already made your FE gift, I'll mail it to you. Thanks

Jackie--Thanks for the report; now I know I made the right decision NOT to go; somehow six hours in the car and then the temps and crowds, no thank you. I will try and be patient and wait until my scheduled weekend trip via SW and my two nights at PP. DH will be in Australia with our first born son being tourists.

Off to hunt for a replacement cooktop. Its a challenge because our house was built in the 50s and the opening is smaller than whats available. That equates to more money to cut the aqua blue tile that adorns my kitchen. The labor no doubt to install and cut will be more expensive than the unit.

Shirley (Chippermerlin) called and she was doing They are boarding the Wonder on Sunday.
