What about group shore excursions? Don't we want to organize and book those more than 4 months in advance? I've never booked a large group but would think we need to reserve space as soon as possible.

I don't know about shore excursions, Dawn. You might want to contact your vendor and inquire.

Back in the day when I was a tour guide, we often contracted a year in advance for lodgings, but there was a contract and a deposit involved. Meals and sightseeing, not until we knew exactly how many tourists we had. No idea how a vendor would prefer handle an ad hoc group for an excursion.

Hi Everyone! I have been reading this thread since we booked our PC cruise on Sept 21st, so i thought it was about time i wrote on it. It will be me, Sarah, and my husband, Ben, on this cruise. We are still waiting to make sure he can get off work, but for now everything is a go. This will be my 11th cruise, and Ben's 7th. We have one planed for Nov 1st, and a 3 day next year. I have always wanted to cruise through the PC, so when this opportunity came up, we had to jump on it. Looking forward to getting to know you guys!!

WELCOME to Sarah and Ben!!!!!

I am not sure how our group handled the zip lining..I can find out if you like.I know the snorkeling excursion was done quite some time ahead of time. One of their ships were reserved for us and each family individually called in a paid but identified themselves as a member of the group. There were so many people that the tour company also provided transportation.

Went to MNSSHP last night. Was GREAT as usual,I thought they were a little more generous with the candy this year! :) The fireworks and parade didnt disapoint me . Hubby got a picture of a pumpkin they had in the travel window on main street with the disney cruise line logo on it. ( Ill post when he uploads them).

We were at the party last month before our cruise and just loved it; it rained then too but our spirits were not dampened. Did you see Snow White and all seven dwarfs out for pictures. That was the longest line I waited in; about 45 minutes.

Looking forward to the DCL pumpkin picture; i missed seeing that.

:yay::yay:WELCOME ABORD to all the newbies. Glad to have you on this cruise:yay::yay:

CHIPPERMERLIN checked in with us today; they are enjoying their week in the park and board the WONDER on Saturday. She'll reporting back on any obvious changes.

Yes, California is being deluged with rain today. We need it. I just wish people knew how to drive safely with all the fresh oil on the road
:scared1:

You would not believe the flames I have gotten because I do not like a charater. A moderator even gave me an infraction for talking bad about a fictional charater. Said it was a minor personal attack. To this day I have not recived reply from any administrator about it. The thing that really bothers me is that person is still a moderater and most of their posts are very conducending and no it all sonding and they have only been on like four cruises. So how could you know it all. I mean if you had been on over 30 I can see it. Sorry for my rambeling. Back to regulary schedualed posting.
At first I started to laugh, but you know its not funny at all, funny, the way the boards on the uk stuff I feel are never.ever condecending.
I have to ask. Are you a fellow trekie? Just wondering. And now since I put it out there. Yes I love Star Trek. But like William Shatner said in a geat Saturday Night Lice sketch, it is only a T.V. show.

.

I dont like the original star treck, I LOVE enterprise, its the best, I wanted a beagle for ages, my hubby didnt ever meet a beagle or even know what one looked like( believe it or they are very rare in the uk) he is a HUGE treky fan, we were wathcing enterprise and Porthos come on, I said "thats a beagle" well, easy peezy lemon squeezy, deal done in a milli second, thats how we got Orly our first beagle, same colour as Porthos, now I am rambling.

We're beagle people too. I grew up with a mutt that was mostly beagle and when Jeff and I moved to Florida we got our first dog, a beagle. Then we added another. My Mom has a beagle and we believe harrier mix (Sam is a HUGE beagle). NOw we just have onbe beagle, Joise and our chocolate lab mutt Dodger (after the movie, not the team!)

Funny! My mom's beagle is Sam and that's a very good name for the sam reason. Beagles and their noses get them into trouble everytime...

Bigger the Josie, maybe. Bigger then Sam? No way. He's a 50 pounder.

I had hoped your "kids" were going too - in fact, I already told Dimples and OC they'd have friends on the trip! They're excited. We're going to try out some of your photo ops on our cruise November 7th. Blogging would seem to be the way to go - the kids' paper scrapbook is too difficult to share.

The "kids" will be on the "PC" for sure but they are also going with us on the tree weeks of bliss leaving tomorrow and will try their blogging out this trip. They have costumes for MNSSHP and everything. :thumbsup2

Dang! I wish we were going to get to St. Martin before you guys leave.

Our kids are ready to roll too. We took them apple picking and to a haunted play ground on Monday, but we don't drive until October 31st.

Sun is out now, and it's up to 36F.

We had a beagle just after we got married. She was lovely, but so so naughty! She would tear wallpaper off the walls, and tore up photos.

I called her Becky, but when the Kennel Club registration came through they had named her Rebecca(of Hanroyd[her official name]).:rotfl2: She just wasn't a Rebecca. Rebecca is just such a calm ladylike name. Of course she was always Becky anyway.

I am a huge Star Trek fan. I grew on up TNG and it is my favorite series. I love the cast of characters, especially Picard. He is the best captain they've had. Voyager is a close second, mostly because i love that they are stranded in the Delta Quadrant. Made for a lot of interesting aliens. I will stop there, but i could talk about Star Trek all day long!

P.S. I'm also a huge Star Wars fan! I can't tell you how many times I've seen Episodes 4, 5, and 6.
