Was it you that scared them off? :rotfl2:

Some people believe they have gone to Oregon for the winter as the population of seal lions up there has swelled this year.

p.s. Did you check out the Walt Disney Family Museum when you were in San Francisco? Its neat!

No:rotfl: , we seen them before they left!
thanks for link.
We never seen the museum, july, it was an amazing hol took in las vegas, la, monteray(went to moto gp) drove from san fran to la:cloud9:

It sounds as though I've been missing something good! ... Can someone describe it to me?

We are in the midst of our fourth major snowstorm here at the Jersey Shore, so I can't wait for this cruise! A Konk Kooler is certainly calling my name.......

Rosa Regale is a sparkling red wine - sweet, not at all like champagne (in my opinion anyway). I can get it here in our grocery store and also found it when we stopped at Publix before we got on the ship last year. I will say - it is less expensive in Florida than it is here.

I think we need to have a little gathering back on deck 7 some evening with a few bottles.

Oh this sounds nice. Can I come too? I'll contribute to the cause, it sounds like a wine I would like, I'll have to look for it here in California.

They have it at Cost Plus World Market if you have one near you.

Hey look! After two years of being on these boards, I finally figured out how to do the multiple message thingy! :rotfl:

Lynne,

Are you a motorcycle racing fan??

Kay,

I will look for one around here, I've heard of them, but never been in one.

Honestly, if it doesn't come from Target, Trader Joes or Costco, it's probably not part of my life. :rotfl2:

Welcome Holly and Steve! DH were married in September, too (but 2004). It is a great month for a wedding!
Welcome Beth and family, glad to have you aboard!
Thank you for the highlights JenKatt! I will add it to my ever-filling binder of notes for this cruise! I can't wait for the navigators. :thumbsup2
KayR, your KFC tradition is so cute, I love it!
I don't really like red wine, I am more of a dessert wine drinker, but do love sangria so maybe I would like the Rosa Regale...I will have to try it!
Alan, I sent a letter to SW via snail mail (I think that makes more of an impression these days). So, hopefully the great policies will stay around for a while!
It has been super cold (by Tampa standards) and raining off and on the past few days. Last night I went out onto the porch and it was wet from the rain. I found a slippery patch on the concrete, and slammed my knee. :headache: I am hobbling around slowly, but it is getting better. I will make sure to wear shoes next time!
I have heard reports of people losing power and some theft in the northeast, so I hope everyone is able to keep safe and warm!
Have a great day everyone. :flower3:

Rosa Regale is NOTHING like 'red wine'. I rarely drink - and the nitrites in wine bother me, but our table mates on the last cruise shared their bottle of RR with me and WOO! That is some serious good stuff :)

I am just wondering, and thank you for sending it, can I know what you
said as I will never see it?

Rosa Regale is my fave wine ever, and I first tasted it in Italy at Epcot, it's delish ::yes::

We can't get Rosa Regale very easily in England, hubby had a couple of bottles shipped over from Ireland for me for Christmas - I was thrilled with it

Did you get it onboard ? or did you bring it with you ?
Have a lovely Valentine's Day guys

I usually carry on a bottle (and can get it for about $17 in FL, closer to $20 around here). YES, they have it on this ship and I think charge about $46 for a bottle...maybe more now.

It's a sweet sparkling wine and PERFECT with chocolate and fruit. Especially good with dark chocolate, if you are a fan of that (I AM). I'm not much of a wine drinker, and never drink red wine at all, but I sure enjoy this.

thanks for the info... I'll look forward to sharing a drink (or two... or three...) with y'all.

Don't know if anyone watches the Deadliest Catch but Capt Phill died from a massive stroke.

My dad drives me nuts watching it, I will tell him later, its his birthday today so best go see him.

We're big MotoGP fans too Lynne, hubby's fave is Valentino Rossi. We're also mad on F1 too, and can't wait for the new seasons to begin :thumbsup2

Looks like we all share another love besides, the mouse, DCL and planning - Rosa Regale! Actually, I was introduced to it by my very first Secret Mickey on the 11 night southern. It took me a long time to find it here in Michigan but I am now a happy camper.

Well, we have made it to Thursday of another week. Anyone else looking forward to watching the Olympics? I enjoy it and will be glued to my TV starting tomorrow night.

Take care and I hope those of you buried in snow are able to dig out soon.

Hi Everyone! I was on this thread awhile back when the cruise first opened up, but I've been absent lately due to total chaos in my life ; ) With the holidays, and then WDW for New Years Eve, my first 7 night DCL cruise, and then we moved into a new home literally like the day we got home from the cruise on January 9. Oh and I'm now in my last semester of graduate school...so needless to say it has been a busy time! I'm so ready to get back onto this thread and to get to know you all more!

Did I miss any big announcements? Anything that I should be signing up for like tshirts, Fish Extenders, magnets, meets, etc, or are we doing that later this year? Just want to make sure I'm up to speed. Thanks and looking forward to talking to you all much more!

-Nicole

Hi everyone. After reading many many pages and following along I realized that I had not chimed in and said we will be joining you. My DH and I did one Disney Cruise in late 2008 and he always wanted to see the Panama Canal so we booked when it first came available. I can't wait until its time to go.

Hey All!!

Welcome to the New Peeps!!

I used to buy Rosa Regale at Bev Mo - so those of you in CA may want to try there!?

Asti Cinzano is awesome also if you like a sweet sparkly.

Jen - thanks for posting the menus - planning on wardrobes shall commence immediately after I get a handle on DDs riding clothes for this season! She shows horses and I am working on color/fabric selections. No doubt sounds funny to those who don't show.

Getting so excited for this cruise!!

:welcome:To all of our newbies.:welcome:

Just thought I would let the Newbies, as well as anyone else that is interested, we can still use a few people in our Dry Wipe Board FE group. If anyone is interested just PM me.:thumbsup2

Welcome new people!

Other than the Dry Erase board group, the general FE announcement is on hold until September, when the final payment is due and the group members are more stable. hmm, that doesn't sound right  - but you know what I mean - until there are fewer families coming and going.
