From WDW To DL With Love - January 06, 2011

I would like to do the FE exchange, but DH is worried how we will take them from California to Florida on the plane what with the baggage fees, 2 kids, 2 parents, etc. Any thoughts? Has anyone done this?

UPS. There are several people down here in Florida willing to help get stuff to the port for people.

Hello everyone,

In 4 days we will be setting up the poll for the logo that will be used as our official PC cruise logo. If you have more than one logo, please PM me to let me know which one you want to be used for the judging. Otherwise, we will choose based on "printability, information on logo, etc".

The reason for this is because we can only have 12 logos in the poll. That's all we are allowed to list at one time.

I have heard from WeLuvDCL and now I'm waiting to hear from everyone else with multiple entries.

Remember, all logos will be left on the website to be used for magnets, etc.

The poll will begin November 10, 2009.

I know a lot of people like him. Personaly I wish DCL would let him go. I will not stand to be lied to, to my face. Long story short. We had a issue on our cruise in March. (Kids in the adult only areas and not leaving) my friends and I brought it to his attention. He said he would take care if it and it would stop. Not only did it not stop but he let it go right in front of his eyes in Diversions one night and even stoped Clayton from asking the people to leave.

That would really annoy me too.

I just want to say thanks to everyone. I put my feelings towards Brent due to this situation and people were jumping down my throat like I had comited a crime or something. This was very anoying. I was happy to see it back to normal on our cruise two weeks ago.

We are averaging 44.5 post a day for a cruise over a year away.
My other cruise on nov 14 only gets 29 post a day.
I love the excitment for our panama canal group, should make it a vacation of a lifetime!!

There are three of us altogether:

- myself (28) a kiwi living in Taiwan (it's ok, I don't take offence if someone mistakes my accent as from Oz, just dont tell me vegemite tastes good because marmite is where it's at!)

- my two lovely parents, DM (63) and DF (62) kiwis who live at home in New Zealand

We will be in cabin #7524, further forward than we wanted but we count ourselves lucky to have a cabin at all given previous cruises have been sell-outs by this stage! This will be our second Disney cruise.

We'll be neighbors on the ship. We're in #7526.

Candy--I will be at DL on Monday. My friend Shirley got pneumonia so she won't be celebrating DH's 75th birthday as planned.

Fellow CA cruisers - anyone have a guess as to the flight schedules to Orlando? We have usually flown from Oakland direct to Orlando - flight always arrived in the early evening and we stay at the port. Still debating on the Hyatt MCO or the Port - What is everyone else doing?? Port DIS Meet!!?

And so up for a Volleyball game!! That would be fun!!

Mmmm this sounds yummmy. If it were me I woukd save all the money I could and just stay at Riverside. Closer to DTD, and since it is only one night, not like you will have time to take advatange of all the resort has to offer. Just my two cents.

DH and I are discussing. I love Riverside ... he said we should splurge. I'm thinking we can use the difference in price to buy more stuff onboard.

We're big fans of the Very Berry Sundae since DH can't have chocolate.

Don't listen to him. Save the money. Use it for your bar bill on board. If I did not have DVC I would be staying at Riverside. No need for more.

I agree go with Riverside. You won't even be able to use the pool (unless you're from Canada and then you might think it's warm enough). And Riverside if just wonderful!
