Although we tried to do our best making the mickey heads! Perfect circles for the head and ears using glue and glitter can be a little challenging =)

no,no, i need a few more days to pack!! we leave sturday morning, to SSR for one night and beach club/yacht club for rest. still not sure how we're getting to boat, we'll rent a car if need be!

For those at WDW, I'll be driving monorails Saturday morning between 6 and noon.

For those of you who have sailed during NFL playoff season before, how many playoff games are typically on TV somewhere on the ship, be it the big screen, or Diversions, etc? My brother was curious, he knows he'll have a great time even if nothing was on, but figured I could ask and see if anyone knew how much is usually put on since we are sailing through most of the playoffs?

Today my daughters and grandchildren went to DW for New YEars so I made use of the quiet to start packing. I have two suitcases and have not even put my shoes and dressy stuff in. I am so glad we are going SW so If I have to take a third suitcase it will be $50 not the outragous price Delta charges for each piece.

There is so much talk around here about the Disney Dream. We plan on going to the port to see it but there are so many conflicting times that it is coming in. Does anyone have any info on it?

Yesterday and this morning got most of my Christmas decorations down and packed away into trunks. Only have the tree and outside under window swags to put away. Took my 10 hours and 6 trunks.
I can't believe we did it, but we just got back from the Gift Center and the Kurts Adler Wholesale dealers showroom. Bought Christmas decorations for next years theme - Frank and Dean's swinging 60's - Bob's pick , avocado green, plum, harvest gold and tourquoise. He found a two foot pink foil tree for the table center piece. I put my foot down at the brown lightup tree topper with john wayne on a horse though,. It would not have gone with the martini glasses string of lights. Table place cards will be on mini lava lamps.

For those of you who like sparkling wine, especially those who said they like their champagne sweeter rather then the more dry - brut - french style, Trader Joes is selling a vintage 2006, grand reserve - demi-sec under their label for $14.95. It is Schrambergs, not like, it is Schrambergs - and if you bought it under that label it would be $30 or more. It is off-dry - slightly sweet, small bubbles but not as many as say a Chandon. If you looking for a champagne for tomorrow night to have with food, it is a great deal.

Ok SO I wanted to just share a story fast with people who might appreciate my doing things at the last minute, and having something magical happen when you least expect it.

5 years ago just before I went on my first Disney Cruise I was told by that I should bring my tux for formal night. While, my tux was in Minnesota (I was working at disney), so I asked for it to be sent to me, but I happened upon a formal wear store and I found a Joseph Abboud tux that I fell in love with. So I ended up purchasing it and got rid of the old tux that I bought used. Super excited that I owned a brand new tux I wore it plenty of times for formal nights and it came in handy to be honest. Well, since the last time I had to wear it I've "grown" and I just tried it on again this last weekend. While I immediately went to have the pants let out (will be back on monday) but I discovered the jacket just isn't going to fit. Now this really sucks as it can't be let out and it was obvious it was tight on me. So since I'm in love with this tux I went to see how much it would be to replace, and the tux rental places that carry the brand said it'd take a month to get just a new jacket and they don't have used ones to purchase. So I went to Nordstrom's and it was $750 for a new one. Hearfallen I wasn't sure what I was going to do...

As I had a groupon to Nordstrom Rack for $50 I decided to stop in on my way out of the mall. I noticed in the back of the store they have suits. SO I meander back and take a look in the area that has my (new) size and i'm just looking and I see at the VERY end of the row...a tux. And I open the jacket and It's a Joseph Abboud Tux...IN MY SIZE! Exactly like the one I needed to replace, and it was half off (rack price) and then Half off again (on sale) plus my $50 groupon...I got a brand new tux for $99!!!! I'm excited for formal nights again!

Is anyone considering purchasing the photo CD on-board from Shutters? I think the price is going to be insane, as these are the prices I found for the regular itineraries:

3-night - $249.95
4-night - $299.95
7-night - $399.95

Whether it's this, or one of the photo packages, I forsee spending a fortune at Shutters.

I am considerng this, but also joined the photo group that Carmie got together just in case it's out of my pay scale!

I think I remember reading that on the trans-atlantic cruises they were still $399.95 so I thought ours may be the same too. Can anyone who's done one of those confirm please?

We'll be at Animal Kingdom Lodge tomorrow night. Lots of activities scheduled while there - afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian; Sunrise Safari; dinner at Kouzzina, etc, etc, etc. We also want to get to each park and see the Christmas decorations before they come down.

We ate at Kouzzina for our anniversary this year. I wasn't sure I'd like it but it was actually very good.

Safe Travels to those of you leaving soon. I think we are the last ones leaving. We've decided not to spend the night at the Radisson so my parent's will be taking us directly to the port Thursday morning.

The first thing I'm looking forward to is seeing the Wonder (and Dream!) as we head over the bridge near the port. Always gives me goosebumps.

We ate at Kouzzina for our anniversary this year. I wasn't sure I'd like it but it was actually very good.



We are also driving over Thurs morning.

I think it was something like that price. What I do remember is the number of complaints after the cd. A number of people complained on the thread that whole chunks of pictures were missing and they didn't know it until they got home and looked at the CD, when it was to late to do anything about it.

I am very upset. My Uconn women lost!!!!!!!!!!. They won 90 straight games and lost tonight to Stanford. I just have to remember it is not the Final Four- just a regular game, but it still not a good thing. My daughter who is at DW now just called me.She saw the end of the game at All Star Sports. I guess there were a group of people there watching the game.

We were talking about doing laundry last night, well I have a question for the group. Has any used the Shout Color Catcher? Have you put red clothes with whites? How about blue jeans with yellow nylon nightgown? Who would be willing to do it on purpose? Every time I see the commercial for that product I wish I had the guts to try it. It doesn't address the issue of different water temps or use of bleach.
