I'm off to bed tonight - only had 4 hours of sleep last night, and I want to get a heap of stuff done tomorrow.

Have a great day all.

Cheers,
Sally :)

Lynne, BBC news(online) say it is the first time ever that the Forth Road Bridge has been closed due to snow!!

GOOD Morning, Happy Cruisers!

Stay SAFE, Lynne! Spring will come, eventually.

36 Days :)

We left yesterday around 8 and did not have a good day. We ran into heavy rains and then we took a wrong turn and ended up on a narrow road where we had to turn around with the camper.
For those with campers know that turning a 32' camper around with a truck with an 8' bed is not easy. Russ and Judy you can relate to this. We were there about 2 hrs and finally had to get the police to help us. Will relate the whole story when we see you.
The day just got worse and the rain and fog was bad so we stopped at 3:00 in Harrisburg - we only did 300 miles. Now today they are predicting heavy rains and gusty winds so I am for staying put in this hotel room for another day. Maybe we will see how the afternoon is- keep us in your prayers

As for fruitcake my husband loves it and no one else in our family likes it- so every Christmas he finds a Claxton (SP?) under the tree.

Thats what we need, we alwys getting power cuts, always nearly the same time of year, the geese fly into the power lines.

WELL GUESS WHAT !!??

SO now I am at work, I cant get home!!!!!
The forth road bridge is closed so end off..
There are alternative roads more inland but that would take forever and probably just plain stupid.
I could go and get a train home, but then I would have to walk 5 miles to get home as no buses, also the trouble with that is dad would insist on trying to drive me and thats not fair. Then there getting back........ again.

Mum and Dad has there furry granbabes for the day so I will sit tight.
Also, add to that no running for nearly a week now and I am getting all twitchy..lol.
Bored bored bored , over and out.....
Have a great day everybody, and those lucky peeps in FL:cool2:
wish I was with you, Lynne

Be careful please. As awful as it must be to be stuck at work, you are safe, warm and have internet. It will eventually all get cleaned up.

Well, 3 weeks from today we fly to Fort Lauderdale. I am so looking forward to my family time, visiting in Tampa and then meeting all of you.

:scared1::scared1:I could no more pull a trailor than fly to the moon. How scary but glad you are safe at this point and wise decision to stay put. It might clear up this afternoon.

No cruise docs here either in snowy Pittsburgh! Maybe Santa will bring em :)

As a remember, if you haven't gotten your stateroom to me, please remember to check. I did send PM's to a few people.

Also, I had one of the people that was removed from the list when we sent out the confirmation PMs get back on the list :)

From the department of statistics....

353 people in 137 staterooms, traveling as 110 parties.
This is 14.71% of the normal guest capacity(2400) of the Wonder.
This is 13.07% of the maximum guest capacity (2700) of the Wonder.
This is 15.62% of the available staterooms(877).

I know there are a few people in the thread who aren't on the master list, so my guess is that we're probably at that 16% of staterooms mark, which is kind of amazing.

The stateroom map is current as is the list so if anything needs to change, please resend it.

I'm going to *try* and get carmies list up today or tomorrow, but it will ABSOLUTELY be up by Monday.

Next up is filling out the calendar.....

Hang in there Lynne.....sending you warm vibes. Well, somewhat warm.....woke up today with a white surprise outside and don't mean my white, sunless legs! haha Thinking about ya! Can't wait to see ya, meet ya soon!

Good morning to all.
I am always so excited to a trip is next month and today I finally can!:banana::banana:
The wristbands are here and look great. Lettering is a little on the small side, but we had a lot to say. I will be sorting them out and posting them on Friday. I think they will reach everyone in time, but our dear Aussie who leaves next week. Everyone I've got an address for will receive their bands in the mail.
Hoping all with weather woes warm up and dry out quickly. Just think, in only 36 more sleeps you'll be boarding the Wonder.
Off to sort mine and Carly's clothes.

Been there, done that on the turnaround. We had a 40' Class A with a tow vehicle. Had to unhook the tow and still had trouble. But remember it's an adventure. We have a 38' 5th wheel now and love it.

Does the Disneyland World of Color show have fireworks or loud noises?

DD freaks out over loud noises like fireworks, cannons, gun fire (in Disney shows, not in our neighborhood ) So, I'm debating on whether to get the Picnic meal for WOC. We tried taking her to Fantasmic last week and we had to leave about 5-10 minutes into the show because she was scared and crying. It was very loud even to me.
