They have as much of a chance at the win as the Cowboys being at the Superbowl. Oh wait my bad, the Cowboys will be at the Superbowl, in the Stands that is.

Yeah Cowboys will be watching from the stands. But to compare a season that is 3/4 over to a game? Any team has a chance against any other team for a game. Add to that that the Mavs are playing great and I think the Mavs have a great chance . I will never guarantee a win or a loss. But I know you love your Lakers. I think I feel for the Lakers the way you feel about the Giants.

I've had the same problem. Found 1 today at the Dillard's clearance center that has enough sleeve to make me happy. Dang they thing everyone wants to show their fabby arms!

It really is a pain isn't it? A couple of women's magazines over here have been campaigning for shops to stock dresses with sleeves, so who knows, next year or the year after. To be honest I don't worry over much, but I do have a little bolero that just covers the tops of my arms. I wear it because I think I am NOT supposed to show my flabby arms, not because I don't want to. During the day on the cruise, if the weather co-operates, my arm flab will be on show in strappy or vest t shirts.

Which car service? I'm looking for options in California -- port to DVC Villas at Grand Californian, for 3 people and a jillion bags -- willing to car-share with other DIS folks!!

We didn't get that limo on their homepage I might add, just a towncar!!! However, on the trip from the port to DL. we booked the DL to airport segment, and he did turn up with a normal limo for just the 2 of us, with free drinks(no alcohol), at no extra charge. We had Richard himself, an older gentleman. He pointed out all interesting things on the way. We had to laugh when he said.

"My best tip to you is get yourselves motorised scooters to get around DL"

Erm, we are fit and healthy, we can walk thank you!!!

We have never booked car transport before, so have no real comparisons with other companies.

I feel you. Honestly as much as I do love the Lakers, I just can't see how the Mavs can pull it off. Yes they have a really good team in Dallas, but we are about to get our center back, and that means Pau Gasol gets to go back to his natural position of Forward. Even hurt during the Finals last year, our center was a huge difference. I think that was the main reason we won it. Line you said, any team can win/lose on any given day.

It's a chilly 23 degrees here and nearly that in Jacksonville FL! My cousin there bought extra Christmas lights to put under the blankets over his plants to keep them from freezing. That's too dang cold for Florida!

Oh. My cruise documents arrived - AT my girlfriends house in southern California! (NOT one of the women I'm cruising with) WHY? Well, we cruised together back in 2002, on my first cruise. AT which time, she had a different last name and lived in West Palm Beach, Florida, so your guess is as good as mine.

Well back to watching Star Trek:TNG. I love this one tonight. It is the one were the Cardadians torcher Captian Picard. Great and thought provoking episode.

I've had the same problem with formal dresses. I gave up and went the expensive route...Nordstroms. One is from my DD's wedding and the other is new. I guess I'll just have to keep cruising so I get my money's worth out of them.

I went the same way -i have an older dress i wore to g/f dd wedding that i got for $99 and what i'm in the midst of spending too much on from nordstroms, but most places do not have my size: very very short and fat!! LoL!! nordstroms had a bottom but another store is mailing me the top

computer security guy at work suggested a freware program called ccleaner.com and it's been a blessing for me. no viruses (i also run norton dailyF) and it keeps the puter running fast and clean. tehy ask for a donation when you download but you dont have to. FWIW

2 cruises ago my DD1 and DD2 were cruising a month after us. they gave them our prepaid tips! even though it was prepaid through my res number. sigh. at least it was my DDs. lucky them 0- i just said let them keep it and paid my own (again)

Only the cat 1-3 guests can book them. If any are available while on on board you can book them once we are on. Well got some good news today and a little bad news. The good news is it looks like I would say about 90% sure I will not be canceling. My mom on the other hand is about 99% sure she is going to cancel. Again I really do not want to get into here, and I thank you all for respecting that so far, and i thank you for your welI wishes, they have come in handy I look forward to maybe meeting some of you in just a few short weeks.

Funny I was reading an article in a newspaper about this, there was a poll and that was a huge complaint, re clothes available for xmas parties. Also another poll, if there was anything you could cahange about yourself...arms.

To everyone that contacted me about dining together, I have submitted it to DCL. I did notice on my reservation it stated linked to others, keeping fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. We all know how things can change last minute.

I have one I wore at DD#1's wedding it's sleeveless but has a Jacket- sleeves go to elbow area but then kind of Butterfly so they are almost to wrist. It's from Davids Bridal if that helps

Beginning on the Dec. 16, 2010, sailing of the Disney Wonder® and the Dec. 28, 2010, sailing of the Disney Magic®, families will have a great new way to stay in touch with one another. Portable Wave Phones will enable Guests to contact members of their party while onboard the ship or ashore at Disney’s Castaway Cay.

All staterooms will now offer two portable Wave Phones for complimentary use during the length of the cruise. Four phones are provided in the Royal Suite and 2-Bedroom Suite categories. Guests can rent an additional phone from Guest Services for $3.50 per day.

The Wave Phones replace the paging system previously used by Youth Activities. Parents with children participating in activities are now never more than a text message or phone call away.

All Guests are encouraged to utilize the Wave Phones for staying connected with their party while on the ship or at Disney’s Castaway Cay. However, Guests can opt out of using these phones and have the Wave Phone service disconnected in their staterooms.

If phones are lost, damaged or not returned to the stateroom prior to debarkation a $250 charge per phone will be applied to the Guest’s stateroom account. This charge will be mentioned on the payment authorization form that Guests complete during the check-in process.


So happy these will be on our sailing! It will make things so much easier for our family and keeping track of our DD!!!

The cruise site has been updated. 1 group dropped (newbydisney) and 1 group added plus another group added a stateroom for a total change of +3 staterooms.

There are still a few GTY statuses, and 1 that is a FE so that needs to get updated Other than that, it's pretty much all set. Now, to start planning out events.

I thought it was interesting there will be a nominal chargefor the program...any thoughts on why Disney would chopse this special edition cruise to start charging?!?

There is a Dillard's Clearance store in Houston on highway 6 at West Oaks Mall. They closed down the regular store and made it a clearance store during the summer.

Glad your DOCs arrived abeit the world-traveler route On occasion we get random DCL docs for other DCL travelers, mind you ones we don't know and for sailings we are not scheduled to participate...and when I call DCL they say "oh MY, thanks for letting us know"...a couple of times we've been tempted to show-up with the docs and join the sailing

They charged for this on the EB TA this past year. I think it was $30 or $40 for a 30 min session with him. He did however still do 2 of is hour long presentations where he gave raffled off his drawings he did while talking. I won the last one of hte 2nd presentation so I was so happy! We did not pay for a private session with him though.

The programs that he gives are free to attend. The extra charge on the TA was for a private meeting with him in which he would draw a special character that you wanted, You got a little private time to visit with him. He is so nice. We did it on the TA and I think it ws $40 and he drew me a great picture of Goofy and signed with with our names and his. I framed it when I got home. I was great. However you do need to sign up for a slot. We signed up in the gift shop. If anyone is thinking of doing it I would sign up as soon as you can. It fills up quickly.

Well, thanks to those that have replied on the 'nominal fee' thing. If it is really private and you can walk away with a personalized drawing, DH will be getting that for a Christmas gift, albeit a tad late. How absolutely cool is that??
