Dresses don't tend to fit me :-( one of the drawbacks to being tall!!

I have a skirt and a top that looks mexican-ish. I will probably bring them. Maybe I can pick up something in mexico. Have to haggle really hard though, the stall holders double the prices when the cruise ships are in port!

Perhaps a tunic style or blouse then? I know there are some mini dresses on Ebay that might do as a tunic. Someone on our PC picked a pretty dress up at one of the ports.

This is probably a stupid question. We dont fly (DH severly claustrophobic) but are flying 1st class to FL. Drinks are included, are we supposed to tip?

Everyone who filled in the PC certificate form expressing interest should have had an email from me earlier this week to check their details and send me payment.

This is probably a stupid question. We dont fly (DH severly claustrophobic) but are flying 1st class to FL. Drinks are included, are we supposed to tip?

Not necessary to tip. I've flown in first class a lot from so many frequent flier miles and preferred status, getting bumped up to first...I've never tipped nor have I seen anyone tip around me. I'm sure its something you can do if you want, but its not something you should feel obligated to.

Chilly but not snowy, here in upstate NY.

One suitcase is packed and I'm trying to figure out if I can use my second suitcase as a roll on - does anyone know what the allowable dimensions are?

MUST finish the cards today for preference, tomorrow at the latest.
Need to decide on cookies - I think I'll bake this year. What are your favorites?

What are you ladies wearing for mexican night?

I found a cute dress in Goodwill the other day for DD, but really have no clue what I will wear.

We found DD a dress at a Mexican Flea Market for $10. It was hand embroidered in Mexico but she doesn't want to wear it. She will though she might just fuss a bit I need to find a way though to use a belt or tie as it is a little big around for her. ANyway, I was surprised that was all we found in ladies/juniors Mexican wear as this is a pretty big Mexican Flea Market. Everything else was just normal clothes that you see people wear here in the States. The lady stated though that her daughter was coming back from Mexico in a couple of days with more things. I went ahead and bought me a dress a Macy's just in case we didn't get a chance to go back to the flea market. The dress I bought has a bit of embroidery on the top that I thought could pass as Aztec like design Here they are, first is DDs, second is mine:

As far as the guys, I purchased DS a Guayabera off ebay and it should arrive in the next day or two. I bought DH a shirt a Macy's. It's not a Guayabera as I couldn't find one that wasn't $50 but I think it's close enough. It's a Cubavera brand shirt that was on clearance for $12.00.

I am struggling too. We got John a Guayabera for our last PC cruise and I just wore an orange/red blouse, but didn't really look Mexicanish at all!!! That is all I have this time too. We are so limited over here. I love the Mexican embroidered dresses. Huipil(e) they are called. Can you get one on Ebay?

I found lots of Mexican dress on ebay. I ended up buying tops for Carly and I that we'll pair with pants. I bought Joe a cigar shirt off of ebay, too.

Our first Mexican port is the day of Mexican night, so you could find a dress that day.

Jill -- we live in south Arlington. Someone is making a personal navigator specific to our Dis group. I'm not sure when it will be available, but everything is listed there. Also, there is a running list of activities on page 1 of this thread.

Lynne, Hope you get this yukky spell over with soon. Just think - only a few more weeks and you will be heading to warmer climes! Sounds like the snow is all over - my brother in East Anglia also has snow, which is unusual for them! The in-laws are not snowed in, but are staying put for the moment as they live in Northumberland on a farm on the side of a hill. Very pretty there, but cold!

I bought this shirt off eBay for less than $5 inlcuding shipping. I just searched for "Embroidered" under women's clothing - shirts. Oh, how I eBay when I'm looking for something unique. I'm just going to wear it with some pants or skirt I already have. I still can't decide waht I'm doing for Prince & Pricess night. I really dont' want to bring another formal dress. I'm thinking abotu just packing the Mickey ear princess hat I have and just wear it with a simple dress.

Another great eBay find this week. I'm sooo excited I finally found a Disney robe I like for DH for Christmas! We like to use are spa during the winter and poor DH has been wearing my powder blue robe to cover up when we get out. That's all he's getting for Christmas so I hope he likes it, this cruise is our main Christmas gifts this year.

Another great eBay find this week. I'm sooo excited I finally found a Disney robe I like for DH for Christmas! We like to use are spa during the winter and poor DH has been wearing my powder blue robe to cover up when we get out. That's all he's getting for Christmas so I hope he likes it, this cruise is our main Christmas gifts this year.

I would be interested, I always take my blue hippo on every vacation I take. His birthday is Christmas, I have him in 2 sizes, a small one that I take on vacation and a larger one that I sleep with every night. Small hippo will be 18 on Christmas, and my big one will be 17, I got them a year apart. I love my hippo and would not be able to go away with out him, so if anyone wants to get together with our animals, count me in!

Beautiful shirt! And you can't beat $5! DS shirt arrived today. It's in great shape. I paid just under $10 including shipping but little boys' guayaberas are hard to find. All the other ones I saw on ebay that would fit him were $25 + shipping and the ones on regular store sites were even more than that. So I'm happy with my purchase.

Love the robe too! THe cruise is our main gift too. DH got a Kindle, I got an iPhone (which we both already started using), but other than that, we aren't getting each other anything. Can't think of a better gift than this cruise
