Very true, I was about to come back and say that Cabo and Puerto Vallarta aren't listed yet, but everyone else is. The website is a bit buggy this morning too

For those who have done the other PC cruises, which of these flight times out of LAX do you think I can make:

10:45 ( I am thinking this is too early)
1:50 (this is the one I am leaning towards, but is it still too early?)
4:35

OMG Jen, Did you see the Monteverde "Trainforest" tour in Costa Rica! Jack would love that and I know Emily would too.

UPDATED: Ok, so I just read the entire description and you have to take a 2 hour bus ride so this one is out. There is no way Emily is going to sit still in a buss for 4 hours plus a train for a hour and a half. And I wouldn't want to either.

I can't believe there are only 4 excursions listed for each port? Or am I looking in the wrong place?

Question for those in LA: How is the airport in Burbank? SWA has a good price ($119/person) on a 1:00pm flight.

They do allow those with early flights to get off the ship first. We didn't have to do that, so I can't tell you how quickly you got through immigration. For us who were later getting off, immigration took forever, with huge queues. I am sure you would be in good time for the second flight.

Yeah, I saw that one too and didn't like the 4 hour RT bus ride. But look at this one: http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/c...s-costa-rica/tropical-train-and-river-cruise/ Cameron loves trains. We have a tour booked with Okie Dokie Tours but I'm going to go over DCL excursions with DH to see what he thinks.

There are more than 4 excursions listed for each port. Well, I've only looked at Puntarenas, Aruba, and Manzanillo and there are more than 4. There may be an easier way to get to them but start here: http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/cruises-destinations/shore-excursions/

Look under the port adventure page, not the area page (i.e. mexican riveria page). There's only 4 listed under the port pages, but they are all listed on the port adventure page.

Yeah Jack would love the train tour, but we'll do the volcano tour in Costa Rica. Yes it's a 2+ hour bus drive, BUT when else is he going to see an active volcano? We'll bring the iphones and maybe his portable dvd player to make the bus ride more bearable.

I'm really disappointed in the excursions in Aruba. There's so much else to see on the island, but it's all just the natural bridge or snorkling. Very little else. We'll be doing that one on our own.

Kinda bummed about Manzinillo as well. Looking around online there's a lot offered in the mountains, but Disney doesn't do anything there. Wish we were going to Mazatlan! But I think there we'll do an all inclusive and save the adventure for Cabo (whenever that gets posted!)

THANKS! That one sounds so much better. A boat and train ride in one excursion, Emily will be ecstatic!
And I see the rest of the excursion now. I'm trying to work  and look at excursion at the same time so I thought I migth be missing something.

Me too!

We didn't go to Manzinillo in 2005. Is this a port where you can just walk around by yourself? Are there shops and things to do close to the port?

What about Aruba? The only excursion that sounds decent (for a family with a toddler) is the De Palm Island Beach and Snorkle.

We're going to do an excursion on our own in Aruba to see the southern end of the island, including the caves.
Looking at the volcano excursion some more, it's not a 2+ hour bus ride, more like an hour. There's a stop to see the butterfly farm, etc. Looking at the map, it's not a 2+hour drive, but the return trip is only 45 minutes. I can easily do an hour, even an hour and a half bus trip with Jack. Maybe the train tours are the same way?

You should be okay with the 1:50 but do what makes yuo comfortable!

There will be more then 4 if only 4 are currently showing...I know there is more! Hang in there!

We rented a car in Aruba last time and this time. It allows us to see more.

There are only 4 showing on the Port Adventures page which is linked to the port descriptions. I can't remember how I found it, but there is a way for you to see all port adventures for a port and there are more than 4. Unfortunately a lot of the ones that sound interesting are for older kids, so those of us with kids under 10-12 Y/O are limited.

Awesome!! Thank YOU for telling us! I'm SOOO excited! I can't book until Oct 8, though, but that's ok.... something fun to think about and look forwarda to now. :)

Never had ice wine from Canada but DH broght some back from Germany years ago and it's great! however, give me the chocolate and no one gets hurt! :-)

however, in reality, there's so much food on the ship...and i dont drink enough to go out of my way to bring it on.

Guess DH and I are in the minority for the drinking (lack thereof) but we have a great time anyway!!

Sherri

I don't drink much either, Sherri. A konk cooler, maybe something frou frou at the captains party. That's it. But give me a coffee from Cove! And chocolate - the darker the better.

Nothing against the ship's food or desserts - but when it comes to just plain chocolate (especially dark chocolate), the pickings are pretty slim - and not free. :cool2:

See above

Everyone one of our cruises, there's been more dressed as pirates than not. We go all out and get dressed

Our experience has been about 50% dress in something piratey, even if only a pirate teeshirt. I wear regular clothes with extra jewelry (in hopes of attracting the eye of that wicked scoundrel Jack Sparrow)

Got GREAT flights, for less money than I had budgeted - WAY less. The one changes planes in MCO, though, and how am I EVER going to resist getting off and going to Disney for a few days?

I forgot to mention to anyone who's in and around central Florida this summer/ fall and is looking for something extra to do: One of the local art museums is doing a Dale Chihuly exhibit (that's the guy who does the glass art work hanging from the ceilings in the atrium on the ships). From what I have heard, the exhibit is amazing

Disney has some great rates for pre-cruise time. I just go WL for $150 a night :cool1:

Burbank is very small. It is our only airport that you use stairs to get on and off the aircraft. Because of this you can board from the front and from the rear of the plane. It is kinda neat. When the plane lands it turns right into it's parking spot. Be advised your flight will not be a non stop. We only offer non stops to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Oakland, San Jose, and Sacramento out of Burbank. I think there maybe a non stop to Reno as well out of there. To get to Houston, it will be a stop and maybe a change of planes in Las Vegas or Phoenix.

I did on a couple of cruises but... well, no offense to anyone... but the pirate thing is getting a bit old (at least I'm ready for something new)....:confused3

I could not agree with you more, but with the forth movie coming out (You couldn't pay me to go see it) I don't think it is going anywhere.
