From the airport to AK

I want my Dad to meet us at AK straight from the airport -- how do you go about going straight to the park form the airport without paying parking -- is there a taxi drop-off? TIA

I'm not sure. He could probably have the cab drop him off in the parking lot area, but I'm not sure if there would be a parking fee with that. Only the WDW buses are allowed in the area closer to the park. Is there a reason he can't go to the resort and then take a bus to AK from there, as soon as he leaves the cab?

We are thinking of booking a car service to take us from our off-site to AK. I was told by the guy who books the reservations that some CM's charge the car service for parking, and some do not. If they are charged, you pay. If not, you don't pay. At least with this particular car service. Some of the others told me I would have to pay the $9 "gate fee". (PS since we are dining at Jiko that evening I am considering having the car service pick up and drop off at AKL)

Just trying to have him meet us as soon as possible rather than going to the resort....
