Whoa... this is a small world after all (had to get that in). Jill, I will PM you the little boys name just to be safe. Crissy probably wouldn't mind me posting here, but I'm not sure.

I have gotten to know Crissy well over the last year as she has come to stay with her sister a lot over the weekends. Tracy lives 4 doors down from me and our daughters are great friends. This family has had a lot of bad things handed to them. I admit it has had me questioning God some, too, which I hate to say out loud.

I sent a PM to Jill earlier (if it went through) about how we all "know" each other. Not sure if I'm repeating this or not, but we live a few houses down from Tracy and my Abby and Tracy's DD, Kayla, are friends. Matthew plays with Abby and that is how my Abby became his Tennessee girlfriend.

Just caught up! You'd think that I'd have time to DIS over a 3 day weekend, but nope Saturday morning I had the SAT's. Again. I already took them in the spring but I had a really bad head cold that day and couldn't concentrate so my scores weren't very good. After that my mom and I took my grandma out for a late lunch. The SAT's are 4 hours long so that took a lot out of me and I pretty much just relaxed the rest of the night. Sunday I helped my mom with the grocery shopping and I cleaned the windows on her car. They were so dirty. They drive me crazy when I'm driving it Then I had to clean my room because a friend who works in construction is coming to replace some of our windows(some in my room) soon. Yesterday I had two papers to write and a physics project to work on

So glad to hear your kitty is okay! How old is he? Before I saw that he was okay I was worried because it sounded a little like what happened to two of my kitties before we had to put them to sleep. They wouldn't get up or eat or drink. But they were both really old. I think they were both 19 when we had to put them to sleep.

I was very tempted to buy this for Kazin or Caleb when I was there. I got them each a stuffed animal instead because they last longer than clothes

I'm so excited for you guys! Only 3 more sleeps! I'm gonna PM you my number before I forget!

Glad to hear that your kitty is going to be okay and prayers are with Jarvis and his family.

The cat is still very weak and is sleeping right now, but the doctor says he should perk up pretty quickly. Maybe tomorrow.

I will try to get in touch with Jarvis and see how things are going.

So sorry to hear about your kitty but sounds like he is on the mend!! I know we love our kitty here. She is spoiled rotten & I hate to see the day come that something happens to her.

Surely in a day or two he will be looking better. He got two shots, so he'll be sore from that. I'm thinking a lot of sleep while he is getting better in the best thing for him.

You know, I was really bogged down with so much stuff at school this week that the cat thing really had me down. When I heard that this was not going to be a big thing, my other burdens did suddenly seem so much lighter.

MeMom so glad that you got a little peace of mind from the vet. Maybe Kitty will be all better before you leave and you won't have that worry in the back of your mind during your trip.
I am downloading all my pictures today to Photobucket so maybe I will do a small report after all. I have a few stories to tell and a few good pics. I figure at least I can look back and remember Ty's first trip.
I forget what are y'alls dates for this trip? And for spring break? I don't know my dates for March yet, waiting on my cousins to get back to me.

This trip - this Friday through Tuesday night.
For spring, our hope is to get there on Saturday, March 13th.

Our cat is about ten years old.

He's still pretty lethargic, but he's not crying as much when we touch him. Just barely. It's still pretty sad, but I am hoping he'll just keep sleeping through the worst of it.

I started getting serious about packing tonight. I take two suitcases even if I don't need them so there is plenty of room for things we want to bring back.

Your trip is so close.... I told Hannah tonight we will have a fall trip someday. I have no fall break, but her school always has a Thursday and Friday off (this week). Someday we will get there for all the fall fun...

So glad your kitty is doing better! I had something like that happen with my dog a few years ago...still not sure exactly what it was, but he really, really likes to "graze" (he does it ALL the time so it's not just when he has an upset stomach, like most dogs...he's just weird.) I think he might have eaten some grass that was treated with something. He also had chewed the cord of my phone charger into two pieces so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. I was an absolute wreck so I don't really remember a lot. I just remember that he had to be sedated before they could x-ray him and he was definitely feeling it after!

Hi all! I am new to your TR and am up to page 150. Since I am an empty nester and go just DH and I each year, I am having a blast seeing Disney through a young family's eyes again. I can't wait to finally take the grands who are now five and three. My DD won't let me take them until after she takes them on their first trip. She better hurry up ... it's killing me!

Anyway, I noticed on one of your posts you mentioned the Tree of Life being a water tower. The Imagineers actually used an ocean oil rig as the base/skelleton for this giant sculpture. Have you found the secret path around the base? You can enter this path from behind the Bugs fastpass machines or across from Pizzafari. There are some amazing views of the tree from there. I posted some pics in my TR, if you would like to see them. They are in chapter three, which starts on post 26 at the following:

He went under my bed again last night and has not come out yet. I'm going to bother him just long enough to stand him up and see if he can walk any better this morning before I leave. His back end was still low and slow when he went under there. I know he's wondering what in the world is wrong with him. He's always been a high jumper. He can practically levitate to the top of a very high hutch in the kitchen. Right now, he can barely move forward, much less up!

I hope to see a big improvement by the time I get home today between the shot and the pills.

You guys would love it in the fall. Main Street is beautiful, and you would have to do the party and see the awesome parade. It's more than worth 'skipping' a few days. Jill and I have discussed cutting out for a long weekend next year for Magic Kingdom's 40th anniversary.

My only idea at where he might have gotten into anything harmful is if he ate a cricket that was soaked with poison.

You will absolutely love, love, love taking the grandkids. I smile a whole lot when I am in Disney World with them.
Laugh a lot, too.
Sometimes with them and sometimes at them.

We have been on that path many times, and we notice new things each time. There is much to see.

There has been so much going on for a solid two weeks that I have not had much time to count the days. It is almost here, for sure!

I decided to take a few minutes this morning for more pictures, because the more I think about it, I might have less time tonight than I think. Wednesdays are faculty meeting days, so we already get out late, and I have to get that suitcase ready to take to school tomorrow. Anyway, we'll start the day with a few more pictures.

We had to stop by here to pick up some wet people.

I believe there was a discussion about Brooklynn riding Tower of Terror, so after a short stop at 'home' to pick up Trent and Tanya, we headed toward Hollywood.

Going into the park, the first thing on our agenda was to stop by and see Bo.

We were not able to dress him in red, white, and blue, because, well, he wasn't there.

Maybe he'll be up for some orange and black if Jill and Brooklynn dart over there for another ToT visit. I won't be going into Hollywood this trip, as I am only going to have a three day ticket. Not sure Jill and Brooklynn will go, either, but there's a slight chance they may run over just for the one ride, if there is time.

We enjoy Streetmosphere acts.

Jill will have to refresh my memory again. Did I shop with Bella while you guys rode, or did you go get Fastpasses?
