I am caught up again:thumbsup2

Love the pictures of DD. I have been to both Rainforest Cafes and I am pretty sure they have the same size gift shops.

I will be praying for Jarvis and his family. Also, the other prayer requests on this thread will remain in my prayers. We just had prayers answered!. My friend battling cancer got a bit of good news last week. The doctors at Vandy were certain the cancer had spread to her spinal fluid which would have given her 2 months to live. But, they were wrong (thankfully). She still has a long battle, though. I organzied her 4 year old DD's birthday party that was held yesterday at a local pumpkin patch. We were scared she wouldn't have been strong enough to make it as she is undergoing radiation and chemo. But, she made it and the farm was a blessing to us. They provided a golf cart to take her around so she could enjoy the day with Kayla. We had 68 people show up to celebrate.

Ty's Nonnie - thank you for the expansion pictures. It is great to see all the progress being made.

Not long at all and Memom and gang will be enjoying thier (and all of ours) Happy Place!!!!!!:banana:

I like Jill's family picture. I also enjoyed the DTD shopping. You will get to do that again in less than a week.:woohoo:

Forget Declan, I want some!

I hve faith and trust that you will share the toys with your son. :)

Love the DTD pictures! I cannot wait to see the decorations there in December. I love the Mr. Potato Head parts. We have almost all of them and the boys love putting them together. My boys are really into legos now too. Blake (my youngest) LOOOOOVES Toy Story so he is gettin Toy story duplos and other Toy Story toys for Christmas. Cooper really likes to build and I am transitioning him into legs now. He loves the TRIO blocks too. I am so jealous that you get to see the monorail soon! Wave to it for me! I will see it soon.:woohoo:

I will wave to the monorail and call you out by name. Then when people look at me like I am a total weirdo and gather their children closely to their side, I will say you told me to do it. I'm sure they will feel much better....

as they gather their children even closer. ;)

Well I'm thinking about trying to go sorta solo. My cousin and his wife go just about every year during spring break. She works for the county school system so it's that or summer. We talked about trying to overlap a few days so the could do their thing and I could do mine. I really want a chance to really slow down and take pics and soak it in. This trip was pretty hectic even though it was not very crowded. I knew that it would be awhile before we went together as a family again so we tried to do as much as we could.

Here are a few pics we got of the Fantasyland work being done while we were riding Dumbo.

That sounds doable to overlap a few days and have a couple on your own. I could probably be happy with that.

I'll have to wait until tonight to see the Dumbo pictures. With all of us DIS folks going just weeks apart, we should pretty much get to see the whole progression of things.

Morning, all!

Yes, I am going by myself. I arrive Thursday around dinner time, go to the ceremony at Friday for lunch & then leave Saturday morning. But, if you want...you & Jill could bring the kids to the hotel pool on Friday night and let them
swim. :)

We might have planned to do that, except for it is Homecoming/Alumni Night at the kids' school. The next night is Trink or Treat at church, so the whole weekend is gone.

Hope you like our part of the world, though. :goodvibes

How do you know when enough is enough to hold you over?

When the money runs out, which will be very quickly.

How nice it is to hear that the pumpkin farm made that a special day. I love that.

I'm hoping to come back with some cool rainforest stuff. If I had the funds, my whole classroom would look just like a real rainforest. These kids would go nuts. Maybe when I get my house paid off in a few years, I can spend more money bringing the world into my classroom and providing a much richer educational experience for the kids.

This day next week is Epcot day. We will be roaming around World Showcase nibbling on good stuff. I think I will try kimchi in honor of Drew. Jill got an amazing chocolate lava-type cake last year. If we find that again, we will probably do a repeat on that one. I want to get a Belgium waffle, and of course, I want to try some unusual things, too. I am excited about getting into Japan and getting some pictures and things for our culture unit, too.

WHEW---I think I may be caught up!

So much fun that you could hang out with Wigd and Shocker. BLT's pool looks great-and the slide looks like lots of fun. The view from the rooftop deck for those July 4th fireworks couldn't be beat!

Guess y'all are counting down the days now til your next trip!

You should just go ahead and get the Potato Head parts on this trip. :thumbsup2

I can't believe how much Lexi has played with them. It was a great buy!

I can't wait to see what you bring back to from the Rainforest Cafe.

I took a whole bunch of pics in there and somehow they got erased when my DMom was downloading them. :confused3

I could spend a lot in there if I let myself....:rotfl:

Gotta go stuff myself with turkey. :wave2:

What a small world. I know exactly who you are talking about. And it is a miracle. I am really good friends with her sister Chrissy. Chrissy's DS and my DD are in kindergarten together and have been friends since they were babies. And Jill was his preschool director. That is a freaky small world thing!! I have never met your friend but watching Chrissy go through her mom's death I was just starting to get a little ticked at God for doing this again. And again to my friend. Lots of prayers that she is cured for good!

MeMom, my students have already been putting in requests for additional potato head parts. The girls want more Tinker Bell hair and a boy has asked for Indiana Jones parts...
I'll just have to see what they have.

You are doing better than I am, then. I got to check in on several reports this weekend, but I still have many to get to, and I doubt that is happening this week. I'm a bad DIS friend right now.

I have to be packed Wednesday night, because I am taking my suitcase to school Thursday. I'm riding in with a friend Friday, so I won't have to fool with getting my car somewhere before going to the airport. I don't want to crowd her car with luggage, so I am taking my big suitcase Thursday and just holding the small and last minute stuff until Friday. That kind of forces me to get moving now. ;)

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have to see how the money holds out. Rainforest and Japan stuff is first. I want to bring home holiday stuff, too. Potato Heads may have to wait until next summer, unless the $1.00 I throw into the lottery pot at school hits big this week. :)

They have it again!!! I already checked!

Jill is on top of things. ;)

I guess it was memorable for her, too, huh?

Well, that is all very interesting. :goodvibes

I think we all get aggravated with God sometimes. I know I do, but then I remind myself that He gives us all the good things, and it is His enemy who throws all the bad stuff at us trying to make us weak and angry.

Those kids are so very lucky to have you for a teacher. :teacher:

check this out....

I don't remember seeing the individual pieces, but there were so many I may have missed them. I love the tinkerbell pieces!!

I'm thinking somebody on ebay is going to make a sale tonight. :rolleyes1

Those who sneer at you for saying hi to the monorail just do not understand true Disney love.:rotfl2: I am so excited. I have made great progress on the trip. I have booked a good deal at the WL with free dining and I have snagged ressies for Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier, 1900 PF, Ohana breakfast, and Garden Grill. I also have a Tusker house breakfast and CP breakfast so I am going to decide soon and cancel the one I do not want. I do not know if it is pure luck or extreme determination. Probably a little of both. So, I am all set. We are probably going to skip MVMCP this year. I felt like I was part of a herd of cattle last year. Not so magical. Can't wait to hear about your trip this week!!!!

My kitty cannot walk tonight. Poor guy cried when Drew moved him. He's laying on a blanket near his food and water bowls. I tried to get him to drink something by putting his water right up to him, but he just turned his head. Drew is going to take him to the vet first thing in the morning. I feel so bad for him. He looks so sad, and I'm sure he doesn't understand what is going on.

I'm trying to figure out my connection? Who is the little boy? You can pm me for privacy reasons if you would rather.

Hope your kitty feels better!

Can I make a request because I do not want to go back to your other report or if Jill knows where this photo is...

I want the UPC code for the Disney play food that Jill got before! If she can find the picture great(do it after your trip if she knows where it is) or if you find the food at WOD...then take a picture of it so I can call later to get it for Caleb for christmas!

Oh MeMom, sorry about your kitty. I hope he is resting comfortably. I'm glad Drew is able to take him into the vet in the morning...

I looked back and can't find a picture of the UPC code. I found the ones of the front of the box. I will definitely keep my eye out and get it for you this weekend.

Hoping your kitty feels better, MeMom.! :goodvibes I am going to PM you with my cell phone #. I know you guys have plans for each of your days in our happy place and I am on the other end of the spectrum with virtually no plans or ability to schedule but I am hoping that I will run into you in the parks for a quick meet! Just in case I don't, though, have a great time!!!!! :)
