I guess that means Bella gets the blue tongue.
Yep. You should have seen her face when she took a big bite off the popsicle!

It froze her mouth, and she shuddered. I cracked up!
What fun pictures of your weekend with the girls!
I just love books I remember those book orders from school - I loved those!!
The fair looks like fun - but that church lady?! Wowza!! I'm sure her heart was in the right place, but good grief! All the talk of sin was a bit much.
Have a great Sunday!!
Jill loved books and just loved to read anything. One of the things that bothered me as I was raising my three kids alone is that I could not give her money for book orders every time when her friends were getting multiple books. I have guilty memories associated with book orders. We did have a place called Book Attic where we would get used books, and we went to the library a lot back then to get books and movies.
It has been a very productive Sunday for me. I have averaged some grades, made out Reading plans, finished grade level SS assignments for the last two weeks of this semester, and filled out the comments section of all my report cards.
is that a hat that's swallowing the kid next to brooklynn?
when i saw that picture my first thought was "wow...that lady looks a little off" before i even read your comments about her! i think i would have had to politely remove my child from her booth. lighten up, lady....she's 4! we went to a fall festival once in a little town up the road and there was a pro-life booth there with disturbing pictures about abortions. it was completely inappropriate and disgusting. i get their point, but is that really the place for it? i mean, there are little kids walking around. i would prefer to talk to my child about that topic at the appropriate time and place, not to have them see that at a festival and ask me what it is! people just amaze me. anyway, not that your church lady was that extreme, but it reminded me of that.
that's awesome.
by the way, i love brooklynn's hair cut!
Yes, one of the booths had those hats. I got one for Brooklynn to do at home.
Yeah, the lady is probably a saint, but she was just a bit much for that particular situation.
Isn't her hair cute? It looks so full, and I think she's just a doll in it.
What an adorable haircut! Brooklynn I don't know how you could have gotten any cuter but you just did!
MeMom, I'm guessing on the books....
Never Take a Shark to the Dentist and Bats...
I have those!
I also have Princess Pigtoria...
Half right. We have the Bat Lady coming tomorrow for a special program, so I got Bats. I also got the one that reminded me of Kilimanjaro Safari.
You purchase Princess Pigtoria.
That's perfectly priceless!

Perhaps you could share a paragraph with our pals?
(You guys gather from that how this book is written???)
Woah! This woman scared me! Sorry lady take it easy on the children we don't want to frighten them away from going to Sunday school...
Church Lady!
Can't wait for the next installment, makes me happy to look back at our evening together!
Yep, good old Church Lady. I haven't seen Saturday Night Live in a long time. The last few times I checked in, it was just crude and vulgar, in my opinion.
Love Brooklynn's haircut
Church lady She does look scary in that pic
Cannot wait to hear about your evening & see the fireworks!!
I don't think I got a very flattering picture of her, for sure!
I'm doing a halloween project with Spooky Wheels On The Bus at my library at the end of the month.
What a special weekend with your girls. Will you see them again before Disney?
I just love Brooklynn's new haircut. Emily had the same cut when she was Brookie's age.
Wow! That church lady is scary! I could only imagine the damage Shocker could do with that picture.
Those bows look a lot like the ones Becky (ladybugmom) makes.
What are you doing with your Spooky Wheels on the Bus?
I won't see them before our Disney trip. Jill will be coming up after school on Friday, and we'll be going straight to the airport.
Love Brooklynn's new haircut!! I've been watching my niece and nephew since yesterday. Shopping is definately a whole different world when you have 2 kids with you I think parenting 2 or more kids is much, much different than parenting an only child
Imagine parenting three by yourself?

Naah, it was fun, and I wouldn't trade it for a zillion dollars.

I wanted more, even though I was single, but I couldn't afford it. I really wanted to adopt again.
Great pictures & I love Brooklynn's haircut, she looks adorable!
She is growing up. This time next year, she'll be a very young kindergarten girl!
Okay, I'm all caught up!
Aw...I was flooded with memories from your Contemporary/BLT pics. We LOVED the Contempo Cafe. Did you?
Isn't the walkway neat over to BLT?! It can get windy up there though!
The pool there looks so neat, glad the girls got to swim in it!
Oh my gosh, Brookie looks so big with her big girl haircut!
I got a burger and fries, and it was good.
It was windy when we were up there. I bet it almost always is.
Love this art!
The BLT looks beautiful and the pool area looks like so much fun! The girls certainly look like they had a blast!
If the tent had not been so crowded, we could have done several crafts, but there were a million people, and it was hard to move around. Plus, we wanted to make it to the bird show.
They did have fun. They both love the water.
Brooklyn's haircut is TOO cute! It's always hard when they get that first big girl haircut. It makes them look so grown up.
I remember the church lady! "Could it be... SATAN?"
It's nice to know that I was missed. My DH lost his job in Dec and I've been working two jobs and he has been working construction for his brother out of town. He's an attorney, so our income was cut significantly. Just didn't have the time or sometimes even the heart to read happy things. Know what I mean? A lot of prayers have been said and answered. He is now fully employed and I have hope that we will get back to Disney next year. (sorry to unload)
I love reading about your family and seeing you and your grandbabies together. I can tell that you're the "fun" grandma.
Sorry to hear about your struggles. You can always share and find support here.
I hope I am a fun grandmother. John's mom will share with the girls the fine China and linen napkins, and I'm paper plates and silly decorations. She's holidays on THE DAY, and I'm whenever we can all be together. She's
sit in my lap and I will talk properly to you, and I'm
youtube Disney videos and pretend we're on the rides. They'll get two extremes from their two very different grandmothers.
All caught up! Looks like the girls had a GREAT time at the BLT pool. Too cute!
How nice you got to spend time with them at a grandparents day at school. All the books look good to me! And love Brooklyn's new hair cut!!
Sounds like church lady needs to dial it back a bit!
Each bead represented something different. She spent a whole lot of time on that black bead!
Hi friends! I'm tucked under some blankets ... trying to get over a nasty cold.
Cute pics of the girls! Brooklynn looks so happy to be spending time with her MeMom.
Bella's Ariel is so adorable! Thanks for sharing!
It's so wonderful that you have become such great friends with
Wig'd and Shocker!
Your day at Bay Lake looked like a really fun time. Very cool to get to swim in the fancy pool.
I have some very excitting news to share......
I just booked a mini trip to WDW January 1 for 5 nights at POP Century with Free Dining!!!
I will finally get to see the gorgeous twinkling castle and the holiday decorations!
I woke up this morning and decided to just go for it!
Aaron wasn't interested (not a surprize ) so it will be just us girls again!
I didn't think I could get any ADR's but I was pleasantly surprized!
I got.....
SCI FI (didn't make it this past trip, so I promised Lexi the next trip)
Crystal Palace bkfst (I want to see an empty Main st and try the famous toast)
Chef Mickey's (we love it, a must)
O'Hana (our favorite)
Garden Grill (new for us)
Yak & Yeti (new for us)
We will be flying... our first time on Magical Express!
Any advise or tips for going that time of year? I'm so excitted! Despite my cold...
I am so excited for you, because I know how hard you work!
You'll love Magical Express. I promise you, I watch the video of it and get so excited when I hear that voice!
I'll be anxious to hear your Garden Grill and Yak & Yeti reviews. We have done neither. We had an ADR for Garden Grill for lunch, but then they disbanded lunch before we got there and we never rescheduled.
You are gonna love the Christmas decorations!
So excited for you! It is just spectacular and the crowds should be less by the time you arrive, I'm just sad that we will miss you by a few days...
I am glad they will get low crowds and get to see all of the decorations.
What a wonderful 4th of July! BLT looks awsome! DVC is my dream. I would love to do the DVC tour sometime. The in-laws aren't going with us on this trip or I would try to fit it in.
Wigdoutdismom, Looks like we are going to be there at the same time!
We'd love DVC, too! After staying in a couple of deluxes, we see how easy it is to get spoiled.
Brooklynn looks like such a big girl with her new haircut
What a fun weekend with your girls. I always looked forward to book fairs at my school.
I always love spending time with my sweeties. I miss them so much when I leave them. I look at their pictures often and hear them on the phone almost every day.
Book fairs are fun. They did a good amount of business and were able to get new books for all rooms int he building.
