[On the last day, I ended up getting a green one for myself and a pink one for our friend, Kay, who was coming by to check on Drew and the house. I also got one of the new 'Por Favor' monorail shirts, and I got Jarvis one of those, as well. He was also coming by the house to check on Drew and the cat. I wanted to be sure Drew wasn't having a houseful of people over here while I was gone, so I put more than one person on guard. Fortunately, I got good reports. He had people over to play cards, but other than that, all was well.]

I DID NOT KNOW THESE EXISTED!!!! I AM SOOOOOOO EXCITED! When we get on the monorail my DH and DD14 repeat it, repeat it and repeat it...and just giggle. I am going to surprise each of them with one! Great TR!

Now some 'pan out' pictures, so that you can connect the letters with the places.

I don't think I posted this one, did I?

IMG_6491.jpg

Anyway, there it is. Game over.
The October challenge will be 'Guess the Ride/Attraction Sign'. Again, it will be just for your own fun - no competitions or prizes. Just if you want to test your own Disney knowledge.

Back to the trip soon. Have a good weekend, everyone!

Hey, I just realized I could use the UPON from Once Upon a Toy for my U. :dance3:

Yeah, that's it!
I didn't forget the U at all. :rolleyes1

Yeah, thanks for posting the answers! :cool1:

If we were in school and we were grading, I would have gotten a B+ :rotfl:

Such a fun game....thanks MeMom!!

I will be leaving Disney to come home on the 11th. If we did not have a direct flight we would be stopping in Atlanta to change planes.
I am a bit far from Atlanta but I am sorry I will miss it.

4 hours isn't that far!

If you weren't flying home that day we could ride down together. :)

I've been lurking for a while and just wanted to say I loved the alphabet game and I'm already looking forward to the guess the attraction game! Thanks for the Disney fun :goodvibes

Great game! I was really stumped on a bunch of them. I will be paying more attention to the signs in the future.

I loved all the pam outs at the end! There were so many I was like OH YEAH! after I saw the photos! I am always smarter after I have the answers! ;)

I knew I didn't know a whole lot of them, and as it turns out I knew less than I thought, but it sure was a fun game and I had fun playing along. I think that's the most importan thing anyway.

Terri

Such a fun game!!! Can't wait for the October one! What are your plans for the weekend? I think we are just going to chill out and relax! Hopefully, that will mean I can catch up on the DIS boards and write an update!

Great game!! It was fun and challenging! I didn't post my answers but I played right along as I caught up with the updates!! Can't wait to see what happens with October!! Hopefully things are falling into place and I CAN swing that trip in October now, with Phillip getting a job, our house closing on Monday, and getting into the swing of things at school it is looking like I'm going to be able to get a weekend trip in!!! Just now debating on flights LOL!

I had so much fun playing the alphabet game! Such a great idea!! Thanks for sharing and taking so much time to put them up for our entertainment. Your next game sounds like fun too. And hopefully that trip will be here before we know it!!

B+ is good! :thumbsup2

Stay tuned for the October game. :)
It'll help me as we begin the winter Disney drought, since we won't be going back until March. And even March is wishful thinking.

4 hours isn't that far!

If you weren't flying home that day we could ride down together.

Yes, you could guys could SO come! Poolrat can just parachute off in Atlanta and ride back home with you. :rolleyes1

Thanks for taking the time to post all the answers! I learned that I need to pay a bit more attention...

That's what I tell my students - Pay attention. You never know when there will be a pop quiz! ;)

Glad to have you here. We're all about the Disney fun, as you well know if you've been reading long. Join in any time. :goodvibes

Great game! I was really stumped on a bunch of them. I will be paying more attention to the signs in the future.

Which ones were the very hardest for you?
I'm interested to know which ones were the major 'stumpers'.

I loved all the pam outs at the end! There were so many I was like OH YEAH! after I saw the photos! I am always smarter after I have the answers!

I knew you guys knew most of them, but you just didn't know you knew. :)

I think with the October game, I'll do a college, high school, and elementary version. I'll pan in really close for the first picture, and if you get that, you are in Disney College. I'll back up a little for HS, and then go almost all the way out for elementary. I think everyone will be college or HS.

Terri

Yep, just having fun with it was my plan, although I am interested in knowing which ones people felt were the most difficult.

My plans are house cleaning and trip reporting. I have confidence that this is finally the day Jill will have a break in the action to load the pictures. She does have a birthday party to go to, but that's it.

It has been so long that I can't even remember where we left off!

I hope so! :dance3:
Three weeks for us until we get to see Trent again and spend time with DIS friends, and then 55 days until Disney World! :cheer2:  :woohoo:

I am so happy that you guys both got your jobs and are getting ready to get all settled in. :goodvibes I hope you get a great flight price. :thumbsup2

55 days, I do believe. If we can get through the next 25 (which shouldn't be bad since we now have the Atlanta trip to look forward to), then 30 days down always seems to fly for me.

So glad you have that Atlanta trip in there to break up your long time away from Trent. That sure helps!!!
We are getting around here to head out to mail a few packages. Some promised long over due burned cds and photo passes.
Plus a locker disco ball!
Have a Super Saturday! :cutie:

Annual Passholder rates are out for the rest of the year!!!

Just saved another 5% to bring the grand total to 30% saved or $109.69. :yay:

A scary moment was when the CM recalled my last rate was 20% off even though I called when the GP discounts were released to get the 25% off.:scared1: I thought it was a bit too quick when I was on the phone and I do not think the oher CM did the discount. No worries now since it really doesn't matter but :scared1: at the thought.

I am always excited to have new Disney music! :cool1:
I need an Ipod. (Is that how you write it?) Some of my CD's have been scratched, and I think some are just worn out from being played a gazillion times. Thanks for doing that.

We are so pumped up about the September Atlanta trip! Getting to see all of our girl friends again will be fun, and getting to see a troop of DIS kids will be awesome. Of course, getting any time with Trent is exciting to him and to us.

Logging on to photobucket to load pics. Thanks for being so patient with us (me)!

We appreciate it, daughter of mine. I am glad you were able to have a slow day to do it. Maybe you should put up a few more days' worth while you have time, before you get going crazy again on Monday morning. :)

It sure is hard to know those good rates are out there for the Christmas holidays, yet we can't take advantage of them. :sad1:

I've already been trying to think of ways to bring Christmas back with us when we go down in October. :santa:

We'll have to talk about this at lunch on Wednesday.

Maybe they have a sale on parachutes somewhere. :goodvibes

**************************************

So, after a long hiatus, Jill has finally had a chance to load some pictures the way she likes. It is much more organized than the way I do it, so that's a good thing, but I have to wait for her to get a chance to do it, so that's the bad thing.

Anyway, we left you after an afternoon parade at Magic Kingdom that I had stayed to see while the others had gone back to the room.

Trent and Tanya met them at Pop and called to tell me to meet them, as they were on their way.

Where did I meet them?

Does anyone recognize this candy corn stone?

IMG_6010.jpg

It's back by Splash Mountain, over by the kiddie playground. That's where I waited for them.

IMG_6009.jpg

This had been the scene as I made my way over to Splash Mountain.

IMG_6007.jpg

It was a bit crowded back that way.

IMG_6008.jpg

I sat and people watched for a little while until these people showed up.

IMG_6011.jpg

The mission was for Brooklynn to ride Big Thunder Mountain.

IMG_6012.jpg

I guess Trent was the photographer.

IMG_6013.jpg

The now familiar wide open mouth.

IMG_6019.jpg

She seems to have done very well.

IMG_6021.jpg

She had wanted her hair to stay down so that it could blow around on the ride. Crazy girl! :goodvibes
Jill usually fights her on putting it up, but this time she went with Brooklynn's desire to see her hair blow over practicality, since that is part of the fun of being in Disney World.

Her review of this ride was two thumbs up and one eye shut. ;)

IMG_6022.jpg

She would ride it again.
And again.
And again.

It is one of my favorite rides, too, so I don't blame her.

I think they were going straight back to ride it again - with a babyswap pass, maybe?

IMG_6023.jpg

Jill can add her comments after she gets home. They've gone to eat out.
