Hope there isn't too much drama today. The kids should love their new classroom.

Only one little girl was a little slow about coming in. The rest did well. They liked the animals in the back. I've added some things since I took the first picture.

It's a great Morning! I'm finally leaving for WDW today!

It has been way too long since I hugged "the mouse" and tasted a Dole Whip.

I won't actually drive under the arch until Saturday but I'm still very excitted!

I feel very behind, but wanted to stop by and say hi. Hope you all are enjoying your summer.

It's been a bit slow here, Carissa. After this weekend, we'll finish up the alphabet and then get back into report mode again.

Your last post almost made me cry, Memom! As I told you earlier, my sweet Cooper is going to school for the first time next week and I hope he has a wonderful teacher like you. It is hard to let them go the first time, but I know he will love it so much. I hope you have a great first day and I cannot wait for the party pictures!! I am so glad Trent and Jarvis are coming.

We are so glad the guys are going to be able to come, too!

I know Cooper's teacher will be way better than me; no doubt. He will have so many new and fun experiences to talk about each night.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! We had a low key day. Ellie had art camp so my MIL took Ben out to lunch and to the movies. When he came home I let him open his new video game and he played for a while. Then my dad came over and we all went out to dinner and then back home to open presents.

Do you want to do penpals by e-mail just as a group? We have seven classes and a couple of new teachers. I don't know how difficult it will be to get your three groups matched up with our kids. I liked the group letters, but if you want the individual letters, we'll talk later. The kids like the individual letters, but we're so transient on our end that it is not easy to keep up. We'll talk about ways to work out some kind of middle ground.

Some of these alphabet letters are really hard , can't wait to see what & where they turn out to be at the end , I have quite a few unanswered lol

It went pretty well. No one missed a bus, and I think they all plan to come back next week.

Hope you have a great first day back to school. Our kids don't go back until Aug 30th so still a few more weeks of fun for them. The US Gymnastics VISA competition is in CT this week so I bought tickets for the events through DD's gymnastics school. The Jr. & Sr. Men's competition was yesterday, all I can say is "WOW" they are amazing. Jr. & Sr. Women's competition is today, my mom is taking her this afternoon and I am going tonight.

I bet they are amazing. Such strength gymnasts have!

I have heard the new countries before but getting the country to support the venue is always the issue.

Jumping in with an answer...
1900 Park Fare has dinner with the stepsisters.
We talked Baylor (our son) into proposing to one of them a year ago spring break and it was a "royal hoot" you can look it up on youtube. Baylor's proposal to Cinderella's step-sister at 1900 park fare. If you want to see what it's like.

Those of you that watched Baylor's video, he has changed so much! His hair was much longer and now he has decided to grow it out again. I guess it's a soccer thing....

It was fun, that proposal, he was nervous, but she asked him to dance and that got the ball rolling.
I don't think he would ever do it again.

It's very fun if you have a little guy that would do it though!

I loved the video! Baylor has changed since then.
Yes, I think I'm caught up now. I'm up on the current stuff, but I had skipped some pages!

I really did think about doing an alphabet for my Word Wall. I could put each letter in a small magnetic frame for my white board. I might do that sometime when I have extra money to spend on 26 little magnet frames.

You could laminate the pictures and stick a piece of magnetic tape on the back (the kind that comes in a roll - do you know what I'm talking about?).

I remember when Epcot first opened there was a rumor that they were going to build Spain. Then they made Norway. For years I still thought they were secretly building Spain somewhere back there. I really hope they do finally add Spain. If nothing else for the food!!!

One of these days, that rumor will become truth. Maybe this time. I have read about some DIS foks being asked survey questions while in Epcot about the countries they would like to see in the future. Seems like Russia was the top vote-getter in the thread I was reading.

Good idea about the laminating and magnetic tape. That will be perfect! I just need to get all of my pictures to where I can get a uniformed size when I cut them out. Now that I know what I am going to do, I am ready to get back and take more (and better) pictures.

I'm very much looking forward to Brooklynn's party. Henry's birthday lands on a Wednesday this year, and then we leave the next morning for WDW. Since we don't know too many kids here yet-and have no family here, we are just going to have a little cake/present time after dinner on Wednesday (Joe has to work). He has requested Buzz, so maybe I'll get some tips from your party!! Henry won't care what the cake or anything looks like - as long as he gets to EAT it.

This really is a very fun game! If I remember I'll do it too for my TR. I'm completely stumped on that last T!
