Okay so I finally after a month have gotten my act together and have started a trip report. I guess to start off I will introduce us and tell you the story of how we met.
Heather and Chris both seemed to have had a spark between them and from there the relationship began.
We shall now jump forward 1yr (2003) almost to the day that Heather and Chris met. Chris lived on one side of Georgia and Heather on the other it was a struggle but they survived. Heather had decided the commute to see Chris, was getting to be too much so she packed her car and moved to Augusta to be with him. Heather moved in and they decided before she started working again they would take a quick vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC to celebrate their 1 year anniversary.
Lots had been planned for this quick vacation including a nice dinner at Medieval Times. Apparently Chris had a few plans of his own.
They stayed in a small hotel right across the road from the beach and they both looked forward to taking a nice romantic stroll. But the weather thought otherwise it rained non stop the whole trip. While it put a damper on Chris’s plans Heather wouldn’t let it ruin a nice getaway, besides they still had dinner reservations at Medieval Times.
The night of the reservations had arrived and they couldn’t wait to see the show. After being seated Chris told Heather he had a surprise and wanted to know if she wanted it, without hesitation she said yes. (Who doesn’t like a surprise?) Chris asked her to close her eyes and placed a beautiful sapphire ring in front of her. “Okay open your eyes” he said. Heather opened her eyes looked at the ring and then at him and said “Thank you baby”. It was after all their one year anniversary and she didn’t want to jump the gun and say yes without knowing what it was. Chris looked at her with a puzzled look and said that’s it just “thank you?” “Will you marry me?” Heather looked up and said “sure.” That’s right folks no tears, screaming, or jumping up and down he just got sure. They looked at each other and kissed. Needless to say Chris was quite disappointed with this reaction. In Heathers defense she was a bit surprised. Once they arrived back home they let everyone know the good news.
Once again let’s jump forward this time to 2005. Heather has now lived in Augusta for almost 2 years and isn’t making enough money to pay the bills. She informs Chris she needs to move back home making this a long distance relationship once again. Heather finds another job fairly fast and is able to get back on her feet but with distance between them Heather and Chris have learned what its like to truly miss someone. After another 1.5yrs Chris decides in February of 2007 he doesn’t want to wait any longer he is ready to get married.

Our Story
O nce upon a time, in a time much like this minus 5 years (2002) a younger man (we shall Call him Chris) and skinnier woman (and her Heather) met. Both the younger man and skinnier woman had been asked by dear friends to help them relocate. Heather had known the wife for a little over a year and become close friends with her, and Chris had grown up with husband and had remained friends through the years even though they lived 163 miles apart. This couple had asked several people for help and had been told by many “we will be there”, however when the day arrived no one showed up except for Heather and Chris. Heather and Chris both seemed to have had a spark between them and from there the relationship began.
