I say Le Cellier and Coral Reef both used to be signature restaurants; both required 2 TS credits at one time. she says not so.

ok, honey, no update??? well, he WAS busy driving me to work tonight, since I am such a WOOS about driving in snow. I ended up taking a cab home. now, 2 inches isn't much to some people, but it is to me! (that cab was slip sliding! I would have been in tears.) yet another reason why we need to live in Florida!!! (tomorrow I don't ahve to be ANYWHERE! yay!)

Tammy, you couldn't have missed the trip, you were there! Don't you wonder how close we must have passed during that week and not known it?

I am sure we had to have passed by each other at least once. You know... I was thinking when I saw one of your pictures... If you am Smidgy ate lunch outside on the day we checked in at POP, Nov 30. I think I saw the 2 of you. I was running around with Gavin like a crazy woman because Gavin needed some "attention". Brenda and Jon were coming too but they were much farther behind me. I was coming from the room in the 70s section and going to the far set of doors (just passed the food court). You had a table right outside those giant numbers. You were sitting with your back to me and smidgy was sitting facing those doors. I think you were wearing a white sleeveless shirt... but again, it could have been someone else. By the time I had gotten Gavin changed and came back you were both gone.

So if that was you that I missed...

Tammy, I'm afraid not, we never ate outside, or even sat in the area you mean this trip.

Another great update. I know I don't comment much but just wanted to let you know I'm still here. Good for you on quitting smoking. Wish my DH would do that. He bought one of those electronic cigarette things...used it for about a week and hasn't touched it since. What he spent on that thing and the refills could have gone towards a Disney trip.

My son did the same thing. Raved about the e-cigarettes for about a month, now it's more like the Le Car owner who's embarressed to take it out of the garage.

Wanna hear something funny and freaky? Right before I woke up this morning I had a dream....with you in it. No! Not that kind of dream! I was swimming and you were there too. For some reason you were pushing me further and further into the water. There must have been other people swimming with us because I could see legs here and there. Anyway...I'm going further and further in to the water and starting to get that feeling that I needed to come up for air. That's about the time I woke up. Hmmmm...wonder what that all means?

Lbaw, we have all the supplies we need. I made a huge turkey with all the trimmings last thursday. now that we are done with turkey dinner 3 nights in a row and turkey sandwhiches, tonight is turkey casserole (with bacon, cheddar cheese, Durkee fried onions, cr of chicken soup, biscuits on top) and shhh. mixed veggies. tomorrow is turkey noodle soup. and, we have beer and vodka and whiskey (don't need no stinkin' smokes!)
and now he is watching another Mash rerun for the hundredth time.
oh, I have located flashights and candles AHEAD of time, in case we lose power (which we do in C'ville a lot).
uh-oh, if that happens, we might have to spend the evening talking to each other! just kidding, honey

I went into my archives on Photobucket and found this picture from December of 07.
THis is called "The Lights of Winter" and was between the big fountain and Showcase Plaza. It has been discontinued, however, all gone, Disney's reason why is somewhat vague, however, "The technology is too outdated for this display."
What does that mean?
THey can only now use electricity that's been filtered through Steve Jobs? Anyway,,,,,,,,,

Here's what we didn't see this trip:

@smidgy, oh no you are married to one of those mash folks too? Lance can watch that all day every day with the occasional Walker break. That is how I got into sweepstakes. Helps pass the time. Hey it works and has gotten us some pretty cool stuff. Even won three years of DVC points.

I just called my sister in WoodDale for her b-day. Her hubby was supposed to take her out to dinner, with Mom coming over to take care of their newborn baby girl. Well, Mom got there OK, but nobody is going out. Sounds like they're having a big slumber party over there, with Mom cooking for the clan. I made sis promise to not let Mom go home until it's clear in a couple of days.

Oh yeah, Mom will be 90 next October.

Hope you're both doing okay in the blizzard. Glad you can stay home tomorrow and watch it snow instead of having to be in it. We're experiencing -10 to -15 temperatures (not much snow) and I'm embarrassed to say schools have been cancelled for 2 days now . I grew up in Wyoming and that was to be expected.... You guys have been getting DUMPED on! Be safe everyone!

and , yes Nebo loves Mash, has the dvds for quite a few seasons, but also has all 3 seasons of the original Star Trek.

but, to his credit, I practically take up the main TV all the time.. My day time soaps, my thursday night shows, my sun night shows, and V on tues night. (it wasn't so bad until they changed the whole digital system. it used to be great!! you could actually watch one show , while taping another. um.. isn't that the whole point?

BUT... we PASSED.. on the FREE upgrade, to have a smokng room... which we weren't in that much anyways (and I smoke), and it was in the basement, and the view out our window was a bunch of bushes.

Yep, that's my mom for you! Until last year, we had a hard time keeping track of her. Always travelling to Florida or Canada with my aunt, or to Europe with seniors groups. But she slowed down a lot last year after falling and breaking her hip.

But my sis and BIL take very good care of her. BIL is always coming over to mom's house to fix or maintain something. So mom reciprocates where she can. And she absolutely adores babies. Always has. Perhaps that's why I'm one of 7.

so, we have 2 people quitting smoking,.... stuck together, with .. NO .. WAY .. OUT!!!!

Just keep telling each other how much better life will be post-tobacco, when you both can see, smell, and taste. And take those free upgrades!

I've also been meaning to add my words of encouragement to Nebo (and you too, Smidgy). My oldest sis died a couple of years ago from her 3-pack-a-day habit. Heartbreaking to watch. I'm sooo glad you guys are quitting. Hang in there, Nebo and Smidgy!
