From Oil Wells to Jingle Bells-Bells,pg.66, See you in September!

Awwwwwww, shucks, you don't have to say those nice things. Really!

Thanks for the great intro! I'm glad the plane didn't crash. Did you at least get felt up by the TSA?

So, is this a pkondz scheme? Read what you need to in the beginning to get investors?

:lmao: Nobody's ever come up with that one before! Usually I get variations of, "Heyyyy, it's the kondz :thumbsup2" or, "Do you really like pecans?"

Believe me, one thing I think I excel at is when it comes to Disney vacation planning. I would blow most travel agents away with my insider knowledge, and how to design a trip to make sure it fits the types of vacationers that have special wants and needs. When it comes to Disney planning I am right up there at the top.

You may be a DISer if... :rolleyes1

I also pride myself on my modesty and humility...

Oh, we know, we know!

I got caught up in the 15 day Accuweather forecasts even though I knew better. It was changing every day...

Actually, I find the long range (and short range) forecasts to be very helpful. If it says snow, I pack shorts. If it says sunny, I bring an umbrella, if it says that it'll be the most perfect weather ever, I make sure my will is up to date...

So, with that information and since we are now Monday morning quarterbacking, you can see where this all has the potential to go wrong wrong wrong.

popcorn:: This should be good... It's very considerate of you to suffer so for our amusement. :goodvibes

Nancy, I was one of the few who knew the Bears were gonna get their buts kicked, I knew their luck would run out and the whole concept of "Bears" weather is a joke.
Especially for a team that's known for playing in the snow. I think Brady actually does better in the cold and snow. And since my first Super Bowl recollection is '86, I'm especially happy when the Pats beat the Bears! (Although for some inexplicable reason I root for the Bears against any other team. Sssh, don't tell my fellow New Englanders. ;))

:rotfl: Tee Hee from Pop Century!

Man it's cold down here! Even for a Canuck!!!

My face looks tanned but it's actually frostbite from sitting at the Candlelight processional last night in below freezing temperatures!

We actually went to Discovery Cove and spent the whole day in the water on Sunday! We had to wear the long wetsuits to stay warm and I was worried the dolphins would swim away from me in a panic thinking I was Shamu!!! :lmao:

Just getting ready to go to dinner at 1900 Park Fare, talk to you soon ya hoser! :happytv: hope you didn't run into any trouble with the Pop Warner crowds (although it would probably be an entertaining story)

Oh and just in case you care, Yes, I was the lucky one in my travel party to get the pat down when going through the airport security and I didn't even get to choose the cute guy got stuck with the cranky lady.........

Yahoo - a new TR! And before we leave - yes, we are down to 27 days to go! Yikes. My youngest (21) just informed me Christmas was next week - I had to look at my calendar - I didn't believe her!

So I told my eldest (31) and she did the same thing, looked at her calendar in disbelief.. and so it went down the line. LOL :lmao:

Looking forward to your writings, good and bad. :surfweb:

:cold:just watched the weather and they said 27 degrees tonight. yipes. was it that cold for you guys? jeeze i will keep our weather out her to myself. just leave it at not very winter like weather here in so cal. so back on topic. how iss your back nebo? someone said that you may have requested the "enhanced pat down" :lmao: that must be some pat down to mess up your back;) sorry just had to go there. i will now skulk back into the shadows and wait patiently for your next chapter *tap tap tap tapping my foot* is it there yet? hey it is not just for me my husband loves to hear your trip reports. hey take care of the back tho seriously. back pain just sucks

Sorry you had bad weather mojo, Nebo and Smidgy!

Take comfort in the fact that you missed the worst of it, lowest temps in 12 years here the today and tomorrow. I'm not even sure I'm alive anymore, I had a walking tour of a property OUTSIDe today, i might be permanently frozen.

Looking forward to your story as always anyway popcorn::

I do solemnly swear to call nebo when he strays from the truth!! :)

Did you two go back to Teppan Edo? We ate there our first night at the world.. LOVED IT!! food was great, our cook was very entertaining, and made his volcano spew like crazy!! LOL had a great time.. I made sure not to point out to him that his volcano wasn't as big as another tables (wouldn't want to make a man with knives angry).. ;)

Hey Frank, yeah, we did make it to the "Men with Knives" place, we'll get to that. And I believe you when you say you did look for me to buy a drink. Honest. I really do. No kidding. Just ask Smidgy. Maybe next time.

Awwwwwww, shucks, you don't have to say those nice things. Really!

Geesh, don't beat around the bush much, do you? Well we shall get to that also. boy, if I said that I'd be run out of the disboards........

There is a rumor out there that Nebo ASKED for the full body search...

Oh, here we go. See what you started, Marie? Ok, if you must know, I didn't ask for it, I DEMANDED it! I know my rights!

:lmao: Nobody's ever come up with that one before! Usually I get variations of, "Heyyyy, it's the kondz :thumbsup2" or, "Do you really like pecans?"

Funny, this was the first thing that came to me, the Ponzi scheme.

Actually, I find the long range (and short range) forecasts to be very helpful. If it says snow, I pack shorts. If it says sunny, I bring an umbrella, if it says that it'll be the most perfect weather ever, I make sure my will is up to date...

That will also be my new plan, very good.

Ah yes, January 26, 1986, a day to remember. Poor Ray Berry, his team never had a chance. And poor Tony Eason, a quarterback I liked because he also went to Illinois, not that I know anything about that season.
What I remember the most though is what happened two days after the Bears won that Superbowl. Remember?
I wish I could forget.
The Challenger exploded.

:rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl:
Now that's funny right there..

Well thank you Larry the Cable Guy.:happytv:

Con grats Lisa on the new trip. January is the one month we have never been there, and after this trip, don't plan on it anytime soon unless we live there. Just don't apy any attention to AssoWeather.

Well, been really busy here since we got back, Smidgy wanted a Christmas tree up even though there's not much time left till then, but I can understand so I spent a good part of the day decorating it while she worked.
I shoujld have a real new chapter up Friday night. Honest.

Marita, we shall try to fulfill, just hope I'm not running to the same well one too many times.

Bummmer on the weather!! looks like you may have met up with some Diser's

Yeah, Mary, it was cool since none was the result of a set up "meet".

Ok, after a busy day, I'm waiting to see how my back responds tomorrow, either way I'll take it easy, meaning, STAY THE HELL OFF THE COMPUTER which kills my back trying to see it. SO, Friday night we'll get this trip on the road, or, in the air as the case may be.

We were at the Stadium over the summer and I giggled a little when I saw someone with an Eason shirt. You don't see too many of those anymore. I did not remember that the Challenger explosion happened so close after the Super Bowl. But I remember it well. The teacher on that mission was from a NH school and grew up in a town not far from where I live. It was a VERY big deal here. Life does have a way of putting things in persepective for us.

Not to highjack this thread, but it reminded me of my Challenger day. I was on the monorail from the Poly to the Contemp for a meeting with my boss and saw this big weird cloud just hanging in the sky, not moving. No clue what it was. When i walked into the office, the secretary said 'the shuttle blew up''. i said what do you mean, i had no clue.

Yeah, Nancy and Marita, that wasn't a great time in our history, thanks for remembering. '
It seems I highjacked my own thread, sorry for that all of you, didn't mean to. This shows you how well prepared my chapters and call outs are handled. But it's almost time to get back to Disney, ok? Or at least the TSA.

Almost done hey Mony? Ok, when am I gonna lose you again, this time?

Ouch, I deserved that. Lucky for you I ain't going anywhere. I told you I'm out of my funk.

Tim just told me that his company is holding their January meetings in Orlando. That stung a bit. I can picture me in the parks while he is in meetings and meeting up afterward. I have to carefully plan how I present this to him and as cheaply as possible..........got any suggestions ol' disney planner guru?

Are you continuing your report on this thread or starting a new one?

I vote for you doing your TR's like you always do. You can't fix___perfection___( or you can fill in the blank)

I think it would be cool if your next vacation was filmed for a reality TV show. That would rock!

Mony, I hadn't thought of "Nebo WDW Reality TV". :lmao:

But, don't we get that anyway in the trip reports? We all edit our trips when we write them, hopefully to make them more fun or interesting.

Can't you take a sack lunch to the parks to cut costs for your upcoming January trip? (See, I already believe you are going. ;) )

Just coming back from AK! We did you favourite ride: Flame Tree BBQ!!!

Heading over to 'Ohana for dinner in a couple of hours...

NOTE TO SELF: Peel shrimp before eating

:lmao:

Reality show? Right. And I suppose you'd want to get Ozzie to play the Nebo role?
I can't really help you with the January thing without more knowledge. Are kids included? You know how much the damn park tickets cost so that would be a killer. But maybve if it's just you and him for a couple of days you could get a mini Disney fix by going to Downtown Disney, resort hopping or hanging around the Boardwalk for a cheap fix.
By the way, ahem, this next report will probably be a mini report, so I'm just continueing it on right here, notice the change in the title? I guess I should also change the siggy too, didn';t think of that.

Believe me, this next report is going to be a challenge, and I still refuse to make crap up that didn't happen, UNLESS, it's obviously a joke. Nothing worse than a boring reality show, so pray for me.

Shrimp should come with warning labels.

Tomorrow, see you then.
