from New Orleans, going on Sunday

Hello, I spent my whole summer planning our disney over Mardi Gras. Of course all my research and guide books are gone along with my house in New Orleans. We came to Atlanta and waiting to go back to NO some day soon. So we decided to go to Disney next week since we will probably be working in Feb.
I can't believe I have to deal with another hurricane. We arrrive Sunday for 4 nights. I even got into the Lunch at Cinderella's Table at the last minute when I booked 2 days ago. I thought my luck was chaning. Oh well
We are staying at the POR. I just can't wait for my vacation. We really need a break from all the insurance fighting.
HOpe we do well and Wilma stay away.

I wish you well and I hope you have a great time! Just forget all of your worries while you are there (i like in pearl river, not too far from NO but everything of mine was fine) and I'll go outside every 10 minutes and blow as hard as I can for this hurricane to miss WDW (and maybe if someone else will join me we can get it to go around FL all together!)

I will say a prayer for you!!! I hope your trip is wonderful, I know you need it!!! I live in Baton Rouge, and thankfully we did not have hurricane damage. I know insurance companies are the pit's!!! My car was damaged, because a FEMA truck was going down a road with low trees, well he hit the tree & broke it. So the tree hits my darn brand new car!!! I was not to happy, well I just wanted to vent alittle . Really though I hope your trip makes you not think of NO; insurance companies; and hurricanes.

Ha! A bit of an alteration of the "butterfly effect". I love it!!!!! Yah, maybe we can blow that stinkin hurricane away from the US...So our nations people are safe and so that the O.P. can have a well deserved vacation! I will request good luck your way from the magical Disboard genie!

Oh cool! I'm from New Orleans too! We were planning a trip for Mardi Gras too, and got relocated here thanks to Katrina. Figured annual passes were cheaper then the week I was planning so talked DH into them! I know your about as sick of Hurricanes as I am! Hope you guys have a great time!
